| Attention is the orientation and concentration of certain activities to certain objects.Attention,as a window of cognition,is crucial for students’ learning. In recent years, more and more scholars in the sports field have studied the attention of athletes. At present, research has shown that sports can improve people’s cognitive level, including attention, memory, and control.Among them, the research on selective attention is the most widely. With the development of economic level and the improvement of public health awareness, sports are becoming more and more popular.Among them, tennis is becoming the "second largest ball sport in the world" with 260 million enthusiasts, and it has become more popular in colleges. In order to further explore the value of tennis to college students, the paper conducts a comparative study on the differences of attention among college students at different tennis levels. In this study, three college students with different sports levels were selected as samples: The first is the college students who seldom participate in any sports. The second is the novice level college tennis sports group. The third group is college students who have rich tennis experience. With the help of the Vienna Psychological Test System(Vienna Test System),subjects were subjected to visual tracking tests, alert visual tests, and alert hearing tests. The experimental results were used to explore the differences of attention among college students at different tennis levels. The following conclusions are drawn:(1)Compared with the novice college tennis sports group, the college sports group with rich tennis experience and the college non-sports group that rarely participates in any sports,The former two groups of college students who regularly participate in tennis(novice group, experience group)and the non-sports groups have significant differences in selective attention. As the level of sports increases, the participants show better selective visual search capabilities.(2)College students who regularly participate in tennis(novice group, experience group)are better than the non-athletic group of college students who rarely participate in any sports(non-sports groups),but there is no significant difference in the stability of attention. |
