The Influences Of Table Tennis Player’s Emotion On The Visual Search Tactics In Anticipating His Service Placement

Today’s sports competition not only requires athletes to have high physical quality,technical means and tactical ability,but also requires athletes to have strong psychological ability and sports intelligence.Sports intelligence is the ability of athletes to process and respond to external information through their sports knowledge.Competition emotion control is one of the main elements of athletes’ psychological ability.Athletes will be affected by emotion in the competition,which has been confirmed by research.Some studies have found that visual search strategy can affect athletes’ prediction.Based on the above two research results,this study puts forward the hypothesis that emotion affects athletes’ prediction by affecting athletes’ visual search strategies.In this study,20 subjects were divided into 10 experts and 10 novices according to the level of table tennis.Each subject was given two emotional interventions of different nature.Adopt 2 emotions（positive and negative）× 2 two factor mixed experimental design of sports level（expert and novice）,let the subjects watch the video material of table tennis service taken from the first perspective（2000 ± 200ms）,with the help of e-prime3 0 program collects the behavior indicators（reaction time,accuracy rate）of the subjects,and records the eye movement indicators（fixation time,number of fixation points,eye jump distance,etc.）with the help of the new generation dikablis glass 3 head mounted eye movement instrument developed by Ergoneers,Germany.Use d-lab3 55、spss23.0,Excel 2003 and other software and tools for data collection,processing and analysis.The research conclusions are as follows:1.Different emotions will have an impact on the prediction of table tennis players.In the task of predicting the service placement of table tennis,the prediction quality of athletes in positive emotion is better than that in negative emotion,that is,compared with negative emotion,athletes in positive emotion have faster prediction speed and higher prediction accuracy.2.The influence of emotion on Sports prediction changes through the influence of emotion on Athletes’ visual search.Compared with negative emotion,athletes in positive emotion adopt a relatively reasonable search mode,which has short fixation time,few fixation times,small eye jump distance,simple and concentrated fixation trajectory.In positive mood,the athlete’s fixation interest area is mostly concentrated in the opponent’s hand,racket and the central visual field of the right arm.In negative mood,the athlete’s fixation point will be disturbed by the peripheral visual field,and the interest area will spread outward.3.Experts are less affected by emotion than novices.That is,the difference between the expert’s prediction speed and prediction accuracy in the task of predicting the service placement of table tennis under the two emotions is less than that of the novice.4.Sports level affects the prediction quality of table tennis players.In the task of predicting the service placement of table tennis,the expert’s prediction quality is better than the novice’s prediction quality,that is,compared with the novice,the expert’s prediction speed is fast and the prediction accuracy is high.
