Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of Subsidizing Poor Students In Private Higher Vocational Colleges In Meishan City

In November 2013,General Secretary Xi proposed,"targeted poverty alleviation" for the first time.Driven by the work of targeted poverty alleviation,the work of poverty alleviation through education has attracted attention from all walks of life.In recent years,our country has made great efforts to develop vocational education.As an important part of higher education,the healthy development of private higher vocational colleges is particularly important.However,most of the students in private higher vocational colleges come from rural areas and small towns,the family economy is relatively difficult,and the number of poor students is rising.Although China has formed a relatively perfect financial aid system for poor students,the formulation of policies is based on public institutions.As a short board problem in the development of private higher vocational colleges,financial aid for poor students has also been highly valued by the state.This paper analyzes the problems and reasons of poor students’ financial aid in private higher vocational colleges in Meishan City,and seeks countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problems,which has strong theoretical and practical significance.Based on the current situation of financial aid for poor students in six private vocational colleges in Meishan City,this paper collects and sorts out the basic theories and achievements of financial aid for poor students in private vocational colleges by consulting relevant literature.And on the basis of defining the concepts of private higher vocational colleges and financial aid for poor students,this paper applies literature analysis,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview,combines the education cost sharing theory,human capital investment theory and education equity theory,analyzes the problems and the reasons for lack of school management,the difficulty of poor students identify,single source of aid funding,lack of psychological aid,and uses the experience of domestic and foreign advanced experiences,explores the countermeasures and Suggestions to solve the problems of financial aid for poor students in private higher vocational colleges in Meishan City.This paper found that,first,based on the study of the theory of education equity,through improving the identification mechanism of poor students,to ensure that poor students enjoy the right of fair education and fair financial aid.Secondly,based on the research of education cost sharing theory and human capital investment theory,we should play the dual role of government and market,construct a good policy environment and attract social forces to donate money for education.Third,through the concept of subsidizing education,strengthen paid financial support,relieve the financial pressure of the government,and promote the healthy development of subsidizing poor students in private higher vocational colleges.
