| Parents’ involvement in school education is a hot topic in the field of education,and it is also the trend of the development of school education.The key to parents’ involvement in school education lies in maximizing their own advantages and functions to the two important roles of the school and parents.The purpose of parents’ involvement in school education is to promote the all-round development and strong growth of the children who are the subject of education,the difficulty of parents’ involvement in school education is how to carry out and implement in school education,and realize the depth and breadth of substantive involvement.Because parents of autistic children in special education school face more severe challenges,their involvement in school education needs more attention and research.This study selected parents of autistic children in special education school in Chengdu city of Sichuan province as the main research object,adopted questionnaire investigation and interview method,investigated and analyzed the current situation of the autistic children parents’ involvement in school education and its influencing factors,Finally put forward some suggestions to promote the autistic children parents to involve in school education,and aim to further promote the autistic children’ physical and mental development.The results of this study are shown the following:(1)autistic children parents’ involvement degree in education in special education school in Chengdu city of Sichuan province is generally low,sometimes to involve in the activities of school education,occasionally involved in learning at home,home school communication and parenting education,rarely involve in school decision making;(2)Parents of autistic children from different backgrounds have different degrees of involvement in education: the level of "bachelor’s degree or above" of parents is significantly higher than that of "junior high school or below";The degree of parents’ involvement of "three generations under one roof","nuclear family" and "other generation family" is significantly higher than that of "single parent family".(3)a variety of factors affect the autistic children parents’ involvement in different level: parents’ involvement consciousness,parenting self-efficacy,expectation and social support positively influence parents’ involvement in education,especially parents’ involvement consciousness and the parenting self-efficacy influence home school communication,involvement of learning at home and to involve in school activities;Parental pressure and parental satisfaction have a certain correlation with parental involvement education,but their influence is not significant.Finally,this paper puts forward following feasible suggestions in promoting the autistic children of parents’ involvement in education:(1)"bring in"--make the best use of everything and people make the best use of their abilities: draw lessons from foreign experience to form a preliminary construction system;Make full use of human resources to achieve the goal of parental involvement;(2)"Get moving"--concept first,multiple financing:consciousness influences involvement behavior and corrects conceptual misunderstandings;Try to enrich the form of involvement,broaden the way;Mobilize multiple participants and share responsibilities reasonably;(3)"Focus on the key points"--improve professional,deep involvement: improve the professional quality of teachers,create a home-school cooperative campus culture;Pay attention to the needs of parents’ involvement and enhance the effectiveness of parenting. |
