As an increasingly serious social problem, school bullying has attracted more and more people’s attention.Studies have shown that middle school and high school are the high incidence stage of school bullying, and middle school is an important period for students’ psychological maturity and development,as well as a key stage for the formation of personality. Therefore, the healthy growth of this period is extremely important, and even affects the happiness of later life.Studies have shown that moral disengagement is closely related to school bullying. Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the moral disengagement and school bullying of middle school students, and to understand the current situation, characteristics and related factors of school bullying in order to take targeted measures to prevent and correct school bullying. This research USES the Olweus bullying children questionnaire in Chinese,"moral hook scale","interpersonal pointer scale","emotion regulation self-efficacy scale for five schools survey was conducted among 1112 middle school students in chongqing, this paper discusses the current situation of middle school students bullying, and moral protector, empathy, emotional self-efficacy and the relationship between bullying. It mainly consists of the following four studies.Firstly, the Chinese version of Olweus Child Bullying Questionnaire was used to investigate the current situation and characteristics of school bullying among middle school students, and to understand the differences of different demographic variables. Then, using the Chinese version of Olweus Child Bullying Questionnaire, the Moral Disengagement Scale, the Interpersonal Response Indicator Scale, and the Emotional Regulation Self-efficacy Scale,we further explored the effects of moral disengagement, emotional regulation self-efficacy,and empathy on school bullying attitudes. On the basis of the previous two studies, behavioral experiments were conducted to verify whether moral disengagement can affect school bullying attitudes. Some studies have shown that attitudes can be divided into implicit attitudes and explicit attitudes, and the two attitude systems are independent of each other. Therefore, subsequent studies have verified the influence of moral disengagement on explicit attitudes and implicit attitudes towards school bullying.Secondly,we investigated the influence of moral disengagement on overt attitudes to school bullying in60 middle school students using lexical decision-making tasks. Finally, the implicit association test was used to investigate the influence of moral disengagement on school bullying attitudes in 60 middle school students. The results of this study are as follows:(1)There are significant gender differences, grade differences, single parent differences and educational level differences in school bullying. There are significant gender differences and grade differences in bullying others. There are significant differences in attitudes towards bullying in grades and whether they live in school or not.(2)High school students are more likely to be bullied, especially the victims. Therefore, attention should be paid to school bullying, especially the psychological counseling work for the victims.(3)Emotional self-efficacy and empathy played a partially mediating role between moral disengagement and attitudes toward bullying.Moral disengagement could influence attitudes toward bullying through emotional self-efficacy and empathy.(4)Moral disengagement has a significant impact on the overt attitude of school bullying.High moral disengagement has a faster and less accurate response to bullying words than low moral disengagement. It can improve the overt attitude of school bullying by reducing the moral evasion of middle school students.(5)Moral disengagement has no significant effect on students’ implicit attitude towards school bullying, and their implicit attitude towards school bullying is relatively stable and unaffected. This study found that school bullying was common in middle schools in Chongqing, which could improve the incidence of school bullying by reducing students’ moral disengagement and improving their emotional regulation self-efficacy and empathy.
