The progress of science and technology reduces the cost of integrating information technology into classroom teaching.The emergence and promotion of the technical means such as "Smart Classroom","Mathematics Laboratory" are changing the teaching environment.In the complicated technical environment,how to effectively integrate the information technology and mathematics curriculum has become an important problem for the majority of mathematics teachers.The common software in high school mathematics teaching includes Geometer’s Sketchpad,Power Point,Cabri 3D,Geo Gebra,Flash,etc.And all kinds of software have their own design advantages and use limitations.Among them,Geometer’s Sketchpad has attracted a large number of mathematics teachers and Sketchpad enthusiasts to use the software and develop the courseware and toolkit with the characteristics of clear mathematical logic,small memory occupation and easy operation,which made it more perfect.The outstanding role of Geometer’s Sketchpad in breaking through the teaching difficulties,intuitively showing the generating process of mathematical knowledge,enhancing students’ interest in learning and inspiring them to explore independently has been the attention by high school mathematics teachers.In this context,the author starts from the theoretical analysis,combined with practical experience and experimental comparison,studies the use principle and effective application strategy of Geometer’s Sketchpad in high school mathematics teaching.The first step is to divide the levels and standards of the effective integration of information technology and curriculum through the study and collation of relevant literature,combined with the new curriculum standards and constructivism learning theory,to provide theoretical support and exploration direction for the effective application of Geometer’s Sketchpad;The second step is to find the breakthrough of effective integration of the two according to the characteristics of mathematics and teaching difficulties,combining the basic function and software features of Geometer’s Sketchpad;In the third step,according to the theoretical basis of the design of applied courses,in the No.1 High School of Tongling in Anhui Province,we carried out experimental research on two groups of classes.According to the experimental data,we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of using Geometer’s Sketchpad,summarize the application forms and strategies of Geometer’s Sketchpad in mathematics teaching,and test the effectiveness of the principles,forms and strategies of Geometer’s Sketchpad aided mathematics teaching design in practice.Finally,synthesizing the theoretical research and practical exploration,in order to integrate the Geometer’s Sketchpad into the classroom teaching and achieve the best teaching effect,the author summarizes some important principles of the effective application of Geometer’s Sketchpad in high school mathematics teaching:(1)the principle of being practical and realistic;(2)the principle of subject participation;(3)the principle of layer by layer abstraction.And the author also put forward four kinds of teaching strategies,such as "using the Geometer’s Sketchpad as a support tool",in order to guide the practice of mathematics teaching,let the students really like mathematics,like learning mathematics,like studying mathematics,better practice the new curriculum reform concept,and implement the cultivation of students’ mathematics literacy.Based on the high school mathematics classroom,combined with the PEP textbook,this study analyzes how to use the Geometer’s Sketchpad to assist high school mathematics teaching.Through the experiment,we found the following conclusions: the introduction of Geometer’s Sketchpad in classroom teaching can effectively improve students’ interest in learning;teachers use Geometric Sketchpad to make abstract concepts concrete,which effectively solve teaching difficulties and dissolve students’ fear of learning mathematics;students can understand and master the abstract concepts of mathematics by exploring the mathematical rules independently and experiencing the process of knowledge generation through Geometer’s Sketchpad.I hope that through the study of above problems,the theory of Geometer’s Sketchpad teaching can be combined with the high school mathematics teaching practical,so that teachers can objectively treat the teaching software,use it properly,and really give Geometer’s Sketchpad and other learning tools to our students,so as to improve the application status of Geometer’s Sketchpad in high school mathematics teaching.
