Doctoral students are the reserve force of national strategic talents construction,doctoral training will help to build innovative countries.In the new era,doctoral training needs to be guided by social needs and industrial development,relying on the synergy between the internal and external forces.As the developed countries in Western Europe,Belgium has the world-leading scientific research and technological innovation.Its comprehensive strength is inseparable from the scientific research and innovation role played by doctoral students,this kind of multi-disciplinary education runs through all aspects of doctoral education,which is quite distinctive.The purpose of this research is to explore the path of collaborative cultivation of doctoral students in Belgian Research Universities.Firstly,the Bibliometric Method is used to review the literature of “doctoral training”,to find the characteristics and shortcomings of existing research.Secondly,based on the background investigation of the education of doctoral students in Belgian Research Universities,this study analyzes the formation and development of doctoral education,and lays the foundation for a collaborative training path;This research starts with the background of doctoral education in Belgian Research Universities,analyzing the formation and development of doctoral education,and making the foundation for studying collaborative training path;Then the Case Study Method is used to analyze the typical cases of KU Leuven and ULB in Belgium,In the analysis process,the implementation subject was emphasized,and the in-school path,inter-school path,industrial path and government path were studied in depth based on the established analysis framework,this paper attempts to summarize two different training methods: “excellent research” orientation and “open and free” orientation;Finally,this study uses the factor analysis method of comparative education research method to conduct a cross-case comparative analysis of the two.This study condenses commonality while analyzing the personality training scheme of doctoral students,and finally concludes the characteristics of the path of doctoral students’ collaborative training in Belgium.Following the analysis framework,the background environment of the collaborative training path for doctoral students in Research Universities in Belgium is classified and summarized.Combined with the experience of the collaborative training path of doctoral students in Belgian Research Universities,the experience and thoughts that can be cultivated for Chinese doctoral students: Enriching curriculum integration and emphasize and focusing on the importance of training;Focusing on the characteristics of running schools,broadening the cooperation project platform;Focusing on social needs,expanding the cooperation of small and medium-sized enterprises;Improving management efficiency and giving play to the role of multi-agents in society.
