Objective:The aim of the study was to compare the effect of post-activation potentiation on the directional mobility of tennis students with an intensity of 80% 1RM and 90% 1RM weighted squats. The post-activation potentiation effect was tested at different intervals and the value added at each interval after the two intensities were observed.Methodology: The study was conducted using the literature method and experimental method.16 male tennis students from the School of Physical Education of Sichuan Normal University were used as experimental subjects and all had a weighted deep squat 1RM higher than 1.5 times their body weight, and the hexagonal jump and spider run tests were used as test indicators for tennis change of direction movement ability. Each participant’s squat 1RM was tested before the experiment and the squat weight was calculated at 80% 1RM and 90% 1RM.The same group of subjects were used to perform the pre-test of directional mobility after a full warm-up,followed by 5sets of 1 weighted squat intervention at 80% 1RM or 90% 1RM,and post-test of directional mobility at the 4th,8th,12 th and 16 th minutes after the intervention.Results:(1)After the 80% 1RM intensity intervention, the hexagonal jump test showed a significant increase(P < 0.05)at intervals of 4 and 8 minutes and a significant decrease(P < 0.05)at minute 16 compared to the previous test;the spider run test showed a significant increase(P < 0.05)at intervals of 8 minutes compared to the previous test.(2)After the 90% 1RM intensity intervention, there was a significant increase in the hexagonal jump test at intervals of 8,12 and 16 minutes compared to the previous test(p<0.01);the spider run test had a significant increase at intervals of 8 minutes compared to the previous test(p<0.05).(3)In the hexagonal jump test, there was an interaction between intensity and interval time on the value-added of the hexagonal jump(P < 0.05).The value-added of the hexagonal jump test at this intensity intervention was in descending order: 8minutes > 4 minutes > 12 minutes > 16 minutes;the 90% 1RM squat intervention was significantly different from 8 and 12 minutes at minute 4(P < 0.05),8 minutes from 16minutes(P < 0.05),12 and 16 minutes(P < 0.05),and The increase in value added in the hexagonal jump test under this intensity intervention was in descending order: 12 minutes > 8 minutes > 16 minutes > 4 minutes;the increase in value added in the 12 th and 16 th minutes after the 90% 1RM weighted squat intervention was greater than that after the 80% 1RM weighted squat intervention and was significantly different(P <0.05).(4)In the change in value-added of the spider run test, the interval time after the intervention had a significant difference(P < 0.05)on the value-added of the spider run test of the subjects, and there was a significant difference(P < 0.05)between 4 minutes and 16 minutes after the 80% RM deep squat intervention,a significant difference(P <0.05)between the 8th minute and 16 minutes, and a significant difference(P < 0.05)between 12 minutes and 16 minutes.difference(P < 0.05),with the greatest increase at minute 8 and value added after this intensity intervention in descending order: 8minutes > 12 minutes > 4 minutes > 16 minutes;the greatest increase at minute 8 after the 90% 1RM squat intervention and value added at the sub-intensity intervention in descending order: 8 minutes > 12 minutes > 16 minutes > 4 minutes;the 90% 1RM weighted squat intervention at The increase was greater in the 16 th minute after the 90%1RM squat intervention than after the 80% 1RM squat intervention and was significant(p < 0.05).Conclusions:(1)Tennis students produced varying degrees of post-activation enhancement after both intensities of deep squatting, and both improved directional mobility at certain intervals.(2)The hexagonal jump test showed a significant increase from 4-8 minutes after the 80% 1RM squat intervention, with the greatest increase occurring at minute 8;the90% 1RM squat intervention showed a significant increase from 8-16 minutes, with the greatest increase occurring at minute 12,and the 90% 1RM squat induced a stronger post-activation enhancement at 12-16 minutes.(3)The spider run test showed a significant increase after both intensity squat interventions only at minute 8,when the increase was greatest, and at minute 16,when the augmentation effect was stronger with 90% 1RM squat-induced activation.
