Mozi once said,"He who does not believe what he says, will not do what he does." This shows the important value of honesty, and also reflects the long history of the development of lies.Burke also said that "lies can grow in four seasons",which highlights the universality and universality of lies.It is true that the understanding of lies is one of the required courses in the process of individual socialization, and it is also an effective measure for individuals to actively integrate into life practice. As the hope of the future development of our country, only when children accurately understand, understand and master the rules and characteristics of lies, can they quickly identify others’ lies in real life.In comparison,hearing-impaired children are a large group of special children. There are few scientific studies on the understanding of lies, and the results focusing on the understanding of lies and false beliefs are even fewer and almost no one has paid attention to them.According to data, the level of mental health quality of hearing-impaired children has decreased significantly compared with the past. The number of people with mental illness is as high as 45.3%,and the number of patients with depression is26.3%.It can be seen that the emotional problems of hearing-impaired children need urgent attention from the society. Therefore, this paper focuses on the relationship between self/other false beliefs and lie understanding in hearing-impaired children,as well as the mechanism of emotional understanding in both aspects.Based on this, experiment 1 used false belief and lie understanding test to explore the relationship between them. The results showed that the better the hearing impaired children understood others’ false beliefs, the easier it was to identify the false elements in others’ information and estimate others’ lying intentions. The more accurate the normal children’s false beliefs(self and other level)were, the better their ability to comprehend lies’ intentions was.In Experiment 2,emotional understanding tasks were added, and the role of emotional understanding in this task was explored. The results showed that self-/ other-false belief understanding had a positive predictive effect on lying behavior judgment when hearing impaired children had higher emotional understanding scores. When normal children scored higher in emotional understanding,self-false belief had a positive predictive effect on the discrimination of true and false information, while others’ false belief had a positive predictive effect on the judgment of lying behavior and the discrimination of true and false information. The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Hearing impaired children are unable to distinguish between true and false information, and have difficulty understanding others’ lying intentions;(2)Hearing impaired children’s understanding of others’ false beliefs is related to their true and false information discrimination and their understanding of lying intention, while self-understanding of false beliefs has a significant positive effect on their judgment of lying behavior;(3)The presentation of lie cues did not affect the performance of the hearing impaired children on various components of lie comprehension.(4)Emotion comprehension can promote the understanding of false beliefs and lies in hearing-impaired children.
