In recent years, the method of mixing ages has risen in China, setting off a study of the mixed-age education model. The discussion on the value of mixed-age education needs to be further deepened.Studies have shown that the method of mixing ages has a positive effect on the social development of children. This study selected the children's misconceptions in their social development to compare the same age class and the mixed age class. In this study, two kindergartens were selected in Shijiazhuang City. One for the same age class and one for the mixed age class. They tested the children's first-level false beliefs and second-level false beliefs. They took a single test and tested in total.91 children. The first-level false beliefs selected two research paradigms of unexpected content tasks and accidental location tasks.Secondary error beliefs were tested using the new story birthday puppy task designed by Sullivan.and the small picture book task designed by Zhao Jingxin. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1.There is a time difference of about one year between the level of erroneous beliefs in children and the development of secondary error beliefs. The key age for the development of first-level false beliefs is 4 years old.Children develop the second-level unknown ability before the development of second-level false belief ability, the key age of the development of second-level unknown ability is 4 years, and the key age for the development of secondary false beliefs. It is 5 years old.2.The development of children's ability to misbelieve in others is earlier than the development of children's own false beliefs.3.There is no difference in the development level of 3-year-old mixed age class and peer group. The overall false belief score of the mixed age class is slightly higher than that of the same age class, but the difference in the development level within the mixed age class is greater than that of the same age class.4.The method of mixing ages can promote the development of 4-year-old children's own false beliefs and promote the development of false beliefs of5-year-old children.5.The mixed-age class has a role in promoting the development of speech control ability, secondary unknown ability, and secondary error belief ability of children aged 4 and 5 years old.
