| Critical thinking is a comprehensive and complex way of thinking. With the information of world economic competition and the rapid development of information technology, critical thinking has become an inevitable demand for personal growth. The Chemistry Curriculum Standard of Senior High School(2017 edition)summarizes the core qualities of the chemistry into five areas.Among them,"Evidence Reasoning and Model Cognition" requires students to have evidence awareness, and be able to perform necessary analysis and reasoning on opinions or descriptions and confirm or falsify them, and be able to draw corresponding opinions through analysis, evaluation and reasoning of chemical facts or phenomena, and use them to explain more facts or phenomena. It can be seen that cultivating students’ critical thinking skills and training students to apply critical skills such as analysis, reasoning, evaluation, induction, and deduction are effective ways to develop students’ core qualities of the chemistry. This study analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the current teaching model of the school in the cultivation of students’ critical thinking, attempts to integrate "critical thinking" into high school chemistry "flip classroom",takes the cultivation of critical thinking as the teaching goal, designs classroom teaching strategies, and explores the establishment of innovative teaching mode,so as to achieve the cultivation of students’ learning ability. The whole study is divided into five parts: The first part focuses on the basis of the topic selection and and makes a relevant review of domestic and foreign researches and theories. The second part is a simple survey and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the current teaching mode of the school-based teaching mode of "Learning before teaching,Teaching based on learning" in the cultivation of students’ critical thinking. The third part proposes a flipped classroom model based on the cultivation of the critical thinking ability of high school students, which aims at the shortcomings of the teaching model of "Learning before teaching,Teaching based on learning".This part makes an in-depth study on the pre-class,in-class and post-class links of the flipped classroom model based on the cultivation of the critical thinking ability of high school students, and proposes strategies for cultivating students’ critical thinking ability in each link, and explains further through related teaching cases.Taking "Colloid and its nature" as an example to show the release, acceptance and feedback of pre-class tasks in the pre-class link.Taking "Sodium and its compounds" and "Iron and its compounds" as examples to show the content and form of the theme discussion in the course,as well as the release and acceptance of the after-school tasks in the post-class link.;taking "Sulfur and its compounds" teaching design and teaching practice as examples to show the application of flipped classroom model based on the cultivation of critical thinking ability of senior high school students in specific knowledge module teaching. The fourth part is teaching experiment study on the teaching modle.According to the adaptation of The California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory(CCTDI),a questionnaire suitable for senior one students is designed for the pre-test and post-test of critical thinking tendency.According to the six dimensions of critical thinking skills, chemical test questions are designed for the pre-test and post-test of critical thinking skills to test the impact of the flipped classroom model based on critical thinking skills training on the development of critical thinking skills of students. The result shows that there is no significant difference in critical thinking tendency between the experimental class and the control class, but there is significant difference in critical thinking skills. In terms of learning performance, the experimental class is more active than the control class in teaching activities. In terms of academic performance, the experimental class is better than the control class.Last part is the conclusion, summarizing the whole and the limitations, proposing suggestions for further study. The innovation work: Integrating "critical thinking" into "flipped classroom" of high school chemistry, and creating a unique and effective teaching model. |
