Collaborative learning,as a learning method of group construction,plays an important role in cultivating students’ interest in learning and their ability to communicate and cooperate.It has unique advantages in improving students’ skill level and teaching ability.Based on the perspective of activity theory,this paper carried out a research on the design of cooperative learning activities in college yoga classroom,seeking a new teaching mode that is beneficial to college yoga classroom,in order to solve the problems existing in traditional yoga teaching,meanwhile,accumulating teaching experience and enriching the theory and practice of physical education teaching.It provides theoretical basis and practical reference for teaching and training of yoga courses and other sports in colleges and universities in China.In this paper,the methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire survey,mathematical statistics,observation and experiment are used.Class 1 of Xi ’an University of Physical Education(32 students)was selected as the experimental group,and the cooperative learning mode was adopted for teaching.Class 2 of Xi ’an University of Physical Education(32 students)was selected as the control group,and the traditional teaching mode was adopted for teaching.The results show that :(1)In the traditional yoga classroom teaching in colleges and universities,the students who study based on interest only account for 38% of the total;22% prefer listening to teachers and 62% prefer collaborative learning;In terms of teaching objectives,only 9.1% of colleges and universities pay attention to cultivating students’ ability of collaboration,communication and innovation.(2)Yoga classroom cooperative learning activities based on the perspective of activity theory should start from the applicability of activity theory to yoga classroom and the analysis of elements of yoga classroom cooperative learning activities.(3)Based on the perspective of activity theory,the design of yoga classroom cooperative learning activities is mainly carried out from three aspects: elements,process and content.(4)Implementation of Yoga Classroom Collaborative Learning Activities from the Perspective of Activity Theory According to the hierarchical structure of activity theory,the implementation process is divided into three stages: "asana exploration","asana practice" and "asana application".(5)In the evaluation of the implementation effect based on the experimental method,after the experiment,the average value of practical achievement and peacetime achievement of students in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group,and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P <0.05).In the implementation effect evaluation based on questionnaire survey,the mean values of learning attitude,communication and collaboration ability,knowledge management skills and learning outcomes of the last collaborative learning activity were significantly higher than those of the first collaborative learning activity,with P values of 0.021,0.025,0.032 and 0.049<0.05,respectively,showing significant differences.The conclusions are as follows :(1)There are many problems and deficiencies in traditional yoga classroom teaching,such as incomplete teaching objectives,conservative teaching forms,unbalanced teaching contents,single teaching methods and means,unreasonable use of teaching environment and resources,and imobjective teaching evaluation.(2)Activity theory has good applicability to yoga classroom.The elements of yoga classroom cooperative learning activities based on activity theory include: "learners,learning objectives,cooperative groups,tutors,learning strategies,task division and learning environment."(3)From the perspective of activity theory,the process of yoga classroom cooperative learning activities can be divided into seven steps: "teachers determine learning objectives,create learning situations,guide reasonable grouping,group cooperative learning,inter-group communication and collaboration,report learning results,and teachers and students summarize and evaluate".The content includes the design of the cooperative learning syllabus and the theme of cooperative learning activities.(4)Yoga classroom cooperative learning activities based on the perspective of activity theory in the learning situation set by the teacher,stimulate students’ learning interest,inspire and guide students to fully participate in,cooperate,explore and achieve goals,so that the classroom has become a "learning activity system".(5)From the perspective of activity theory,yoga classroom cooperative learning activities enhance classroom order,learning efficiency and students’ initiative;Improve students’ yoga technology level,yoga teaching ability,innovative thinking and learning quality;It cultivates students’ learning interest,communication and cooperation ability and knowledge management skills.
