The ability of collaborative is regarded as one of the essential skills for talents in the 21 st century. In recent years, the education field in China has begun to concern about the development of collaborative ability, and most of the classroom teaching is carried out in the form of collaboration. However, the author found through literature combing that most teachers teach collaboratively only for the purpose of better learning outcomes, but neglect to improve students’ collaborative ability. Thus,it is inevitable to explore new teaching activities in the classroom to enhance students’ collaborative ability. This study attempts to introduce group dynamics theory into classroom teaching, and to investigate the influence of this activity process on elementary school students’ collaborative ability by designing a teaching activity process in the context of group dynamics theory, guided by constructivist learning theory and activity theory, based on students’ characteristics and the content requirements of elementary school IT curriculum, combined with the characteristics of group dynamics operation mechanism and framework elements, and following the design principles. This study adopts the research methods of literature research method, questionnaire survey method, interview method and educational experiment method.First of all,by analyzing and organizing the literature,we define the concept of collaborative ability and explore the implications of group dynamics theory for this study based on its main ideas;secondly,we investigate the current situation of primary school students’ collaborative ability, interview teachers and students respectively with students’ classroom collaboration, analyze and discuss the results of the survey, and find the current problems in the development of elementary school students’ collaborative ability;finally, combining the existing problems,we choose The group dynamics theory was introduced into elementary school IT teaching, and the correlation and feasibility between group dynamics theory and collaborative ability were analyzed, and the teaching activity process under the perspective of group dynamics theory was designed following the design basis and principles. The experimental class implemented the above teaching activity flow, and the control class implemented the regular collaborative teaching activity flow. The collaborative ability of the two classes was measured before and after the beginning and the end of the teaching experiment, and the students’ works in the two classes were compared and evaluated. The statistical analysis of the experimental data and the results of the work evaluation was used to verify whether the designed teaching activity process had a positive impact on enhancing students’ collaboration skills. The experimental results showed that the teaching activity could solve the current problems encountered by students’ collaboration, improve the quality of students’ collaboration, and effectively enhance students’ collaborative ability;it could make the teaching activity run smoothly and enrich the ways and methods to enhance collaborative ability;it improved the quality of IT teaching and the level of elementary students’ works, and had many reference values for the organization, operation, and guarantee of group collaboration;the teachers’ awareness of developing students’ collaborative ability increased, which provided experience for elementary information technology teachers and teachers of other subjects to guide collaborative teaching. |
