| Tao Xingzhi’s life education thoughts have promoted the reform of modern Chinese education,and at the same time it also has important inspiration for the current education reform.From the perspective of Tao Xingzhi’s life education thoughts,this research constructs the analysis framework of labor education and and use this to make a critical analysis of the current labor education in primary schools,it has a certain degree of guiding significance for the labor education in primary schools.With the use of literature research,questionnaires and teacher interviews as well as other research methods,this research constructs the analysis framework of labor education based on Tao Xingzhi’s life education thoughts and summarize its basic characteristics;based on the investigation of the current situation of labor education in primary schools in ZJ Province,the research analyzes the achievements and problems that have emerged,further proposes the implementation strategies for the improvement of labor education in primary schools.The paper consists of five chapters.The first chapter explains the research background from the perspective of the realistic and theoretical demands of the development of labor education practice in primary schools at this new stage.Based on the literatures,surveying the domestic and foreign reviews about the combination of life education theories and labor education,Tao Xingzhi’s life education theory,and labor education in primary schools,based on the reflection of existing research,the research methods have been clarified.The second chapter constructs the analysis framework of labor education based on Tao Xingzhi’s life education thoughts from the aspects of the goal,content,implementation way,implementation method,and expounds the basic characteristics of labor education for life,practice and development.These two pieces of content provide a theoretical perspective for critically analyzing the implementation status of the labor education in primary schools.The third chapter uses questionnaires and teacher interviews to investigate the implementation status of labor education in primary schools.The survey shows that the implementation of labor education in primary schools has initially embodied the requirements of the implementation framework,but there are some problems like the goal settings of labor education are not developmental enough,and the content of labor education failed to contact students’ social life closely,the fields of labor education implementation are limited,and the effective integration of “teaching,learning and doing” needs to be improved in the implementation of labor education.The forth chapter analyzes the causes of the current labor education situation from a critical perspective.The current overall focus on cultivating students’ competences,reflection on reality,and the construction of the school labor education system have promoted the continuous strengthening of labor education in primary schools,reflecting the requirements of labor education’s implementation framwork from the perspective of life education thoughts;and the social environment’s negative impact,the lack of a complete literacy evaluation systems well as the limitation of the quality of labor education resources have led to some problems in the implementation of labor education in primary schools.The fifth chapter combines relevant labor education curriculum cases to propose the promotion strategies for the implementation of labor education in primary schools from three aspects: the orientation of labor education to “full development”,that is,the objectives of labor education must be covered by various levels of labor competences and be equally staged and targeted;the contents of labor education should highlight “full life”,that is,including all stages of students’ life;the implementation process of labor education should be “full practical” from expanding the fields of labor education and the use of “integrity of teaching,learning and doing”. |
