Under the background of the reform of the new college entrance examination in Guangxi,how to make the teaching of ideological and political courses more in line with students’ actual life,personality characteristics and development needs has become an urgent topic to be explored.Tao Xingzhi’s life education thought includes three major propositions: life is education,society is school,and teaching is one.These propositions are consistent with the goals and directions of the current teaching reform of ideological and political courses in high schools,emphasizing the close connection between education and life,focusing on cultivating students’ core literacy and innovation ability,and advocating a teaching method with students as the main body and teachers and students participating together.Therefore,the application of Tao Xingzhi’s life education ideology in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses can make teaching more in line with the actual situation and development needs of students,and can also improve the professional level and professional quality of teachers.This paper is mainly divided into four parts,and explores the application prospects and implementation strategies of Tao Xingzhi’s life education thought in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses.The first part introduces the main contents and characteristics of Tao Xingzhi’s life education thought,and expounds the feasibility and application prospect of applying this idea in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses.In the second part,using the method of combining student questionnaire survey and teacher interview,and using SPSS for data analysis,it is found that there are the following problems in the application of Tao Xingzhi’s life education thought in high school ideological and political courses: teachers fail to implement the concept of life education in teaching practice,the teaching process ignores the unity of knowledge transfer and practical inquiry,and the teaching evaluation methods lack flexibility and diversity.The reasons for the problems in the analysis are: the comprehensive literacy and knowledge reserve of some teachers are insufficient,classroom teaching is greatly affected by the examination-oriented education model,and students’ subjective status and life experience are not valued;The third part puts forward the specific application strategy of Tao Xingzhi’s life education thought in the teaching of high school ideological and political courses.The fourth part takes the second lesson of compulsory 2 "Economy and Society" Unit 2 "China’s Social Security" as a teaching case to carry out life-oriented activity-based teaching,and explains how to integrate Tao Xingzhi’s life education thinking into the actual teaching process.In short,the application of Tao Xingzhi’s life education thinking can inject new vitality and content into the teaching of high school ideological and political courses,and improve students’ ideological and political quality and comprehensive ability.Combined with the new textbooks of high school ideological and political courses,case analysis is carried out,and the thinking of life education is implemented from three aspects.First of all,implement life-oriented teaching,and implement the concept of "life is education" into the classroom;Second,build an open and dynamically developing education system and practice the concept of "society is school";Finally,establish a unified concept of "teaching and doing one",advocate practical education,provide new ways for building activity-based subject courses,and improve classroom effectiveness.
