Research On Social Work Intervention In The Protection Of The Rights And Interests Of Online Contract Workers

With the continuous updating of Internet technology and the rapid development of sharing economy,the number of network contract workers under the new form of employment is increasing.While making great contributions to social development and people’s convenient life,many workers’ rights and interests of online contract workers are frequently infringed.This article is based on the ecosystem theory,taking the delivery staff in City H and E as an example.The author tries to explain the current situation and reasons of the damage to the rights and interests of the workers.Finally,this article attempts to put forward relevant suggestions and countermeasures from the perspective of social work.The study found that the takeout workers in H city have frequent traffic accidents at work,but their work-related injury insurance is difficult to be guaranteed.In addition,their rights and interests in remuneration,signing labor contracts,rest and vacation,labor safety and vocational training have been generally infringed.It is not only the responsibility of social workers,but also the basic requirement to realize social justice and social harmonious development to provide professional services for online contract workers whose rights and interests are damaged,and integrate social resources to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.However,there are a lot of reasons for the failure to safeguard the rights and interests of workers.With the help of the perspective analysis of ecosystem theory,there are individuals who do not pay much attention to the rights and interests of workers at the micro level.And they lack of legal knowledge and psychological strength of dimensions;At the meso level,there are limited support from families and peers,lack of responsibility of enterprises and lack of relevant policies and resources to help workers’ rights and interests in the community;At the macro level,the relevant laws and systems are not perfect,the rights protection organization is inefficient,and its role is not fully played.At the same time,there is a lack of effective interaction between the three levels of systems,and hungry takeout workers lack the communication and interaction ability to obtain support from the environment.Based on the above analysis,social workers are involved in the protection of the rights and interests of hungry takeout workers.At the micro level,they can tap the advantages of service objects and solve specific problems with the help of case work;At the meso level,we can also establish a diversified service network system through group or community work;Finally,at the macro level,as the advocate of policy,promote the improvement of relevant legal systems and the reform of rights protection institutions.In this way,we can support the online contract workers from all levels,improve their cultural quality and skill level,enhance their awareness of the rights and interests of legitimate workers and their awareness of rights protection,and finally help them obtain more resources and social support to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests.In short,the research of this paper not only has a certain theoretical and academic value for the ecosystem theory in contemporary social work practice and localization,but also provides a certain practical guiding significance for solving the problem of workers’ rights and interests damage caused by online contract workers such as takeout workers in reality.
