| Internet bullying refers to sending messages to other people on the Internet or on electronic devices through text,pictures and audio,but the content is harmful to the physical and mental health of others.Bullies are often in a weak position and cannot effectively protect themselves.After bullying,there will be a series of adverse consequences,such as depression,anxiety,social maladjustment,and suicidal ideation.Junior high school students are in the process of physical and mental development,easy to be affected by the external environment,physical and mental vulnerable,the network bullying will produce negative emotional reactions,improper emotional regulation is easy to lead to depression.Depression is a negative affective experience,mainly characterized by reduced activity and response,depression,pessimism,etc.Higher levels of depression have the potential to produce suicidal ideation.Suicideideation does not directly lead to individual suicide,but it can predict individual suicidal behavior.In recent years,online bullying is a noteworthy risk factor for junior high school students.This study investigated the effects of online bullying on suicidal ideation and the mediating role of depression,aiming to provide theoretical and practical guidance for their crisis intervention.The study is divided into two parts to study the relationship between 786 students in Wuhu and Chaohu,suicide and depression,and junior middle school students selected90 students from the network,and randomly divided into experimental group and control group,with 45 students each.The experimental group was guided with emotion regulation,and the intervention effect was evaluated through the pre and post measurement and data analysis of the experimental group and control group.The study results show that the following:(1)Junior high school students’ online bullying are significantly different in gender,grade,residence,and whether they are the only child.correlated,and online bullying has a significant positive prediction effect on suicidal ideation in junior high school students.(2)Online bullying,suicidal ideation and depression are positively correlated,and online bullying has a significant positive prediction effect on suicidal ideation in junior high school students.(3)Depression plays a partial mediating role in online bullying and suicidal ideation.(4)The experimental group after emotional regulation group counseling was significantly different,and the tendency of depression and suicidal ideation was decreased.However,there was no significant difference between depression and suicidal ideation.Group counseling is one of the effective ways to reduce depression and suicidal ideation in online bullied students. |
