General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized: "We must make good use of red resources,carry forward the red tradition well,and inherit the red genes." Formed excellent revolutionary spirit,revolutionary classic works,cultural relics,objects,revolutionary relics and other spiritual and material carriers.The rich connotation of the times and the revolutionary spirit with national characteristics contained in the red resources have become valuable educational resources for ideal and belief education.College students in the new era are a new force in the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,and they play an important role in the construction of a great national project.Their ideals and beliefs are very important.How to combine the high-quality ideal and belief education resource of red resources with the reality of college students’ ideal and belief education,and provide correct value orientation for college students,requires in-depth research and discussion.This paper comprehensively uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,field survey method and other research methods,starting from the important role of red resources in the ideal and belief education of college students,and expounds the relevant theories of red resources.,draws the status quo of the application of red resources in the education of college students’ ideals and beliefs,affirms its achievements,and points out its shortcomings in practical application.Therefore,combining theory with specific practice,put forward feasible countermeasures on how to effectively use red resources to carry out ideal and belief education for college students.The writing of this paper mainly includes six aspects: The first part is the introduction.Discuss the research background and research significance of the selected topic,research review,research ideas and methods,research difficulties and innovations.The second part is on the basis of defining the core connotations and characteristics of red resources and college students’ ideal and belief education,and further combining the theoretical basis of the study to carry out follow-up research work;the third part focuses on analyzing the core content of college students’ ideal and belief education,exploring red resources.The inner connection with the ideal and belief education of college students;on the basis of following the previous theoretical analysis,the fourth part,through careful design and reasonable arrangement of questionnaires,conducted an actual questionnaire survey on six college students in Guangxi District,so as to obtain more objective research data,to pave the way for the follow-up analysis of the status quo;the fifth part analyzes and integrates the results of the questionnaire,and summarizes the achievements,shortcomings and reasons of the application of red resources in the current ideal and belief education of college students;From the perspective of human beings,taking the continuous red genes,making good use of red resources,and inheriting red culture as the breakthrough point,according to the actual situation of colleges and universities in my country,the effective use of red resources in optimizing the ideal and belief education of college students is put forward.
