Mass media,as the main source of information for college students, has virtually influenced the judgment of female college students on their ideal figure. In order to meet their need to successfully lose weight at a lower cost, restriained eating has gradually become the best choice to help female college students have an ideal figure. But restriained eating is not a good way to lose weight, the more restricted will only make the individual "more unscrupulous",not only is not conducive to the development of their physical and mental health and the establishment of a healthy diet model, but also pose a serious threat to their life safety. Why is there a restriained eating occurring? How to prevent the negative impact of restriained eating on female undergraduates? Should be the key task that the current society should focus on.As an intervention method, which has appeared in people’s vision in recent years,micro-intervention tasks have various forms, such as short video, audio and writing tasks, which also make up for the previous problem of small coverage on the basis of cost reduction, and are highly targeted and significantly welcomed by foreign scholars. Therefore, this study from the perspective of social culture theory such as social psychology theory, using questionnaire method to explore the mass media use on female college students restriained eating and its internal mechanism, send to the intervention object of expressive writing task,on the basis of cognitive processing theory, using microintervention on the risk factors of a restriained eating was performed using controlled experiments,do the early prevention of female college students restriained eating and auxiliary intervention.Based on the three study results, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)Restriained eating among college students is universal,53.8% of college students have moderate or above restricted diet, and the degree of restrictive diet of female college students is significantly higher than that of male college students;(2)Female undergraduates have differences in media attention subdimensions, negative body image and restriained eating, art students show more media attention, negative body image and media attentionthan other majors;Female undergraduates varied in the BMI scope, and students in the normal and overweight or obeset groups showed more restricted diet than students in the lean group; There is no demographic difference in the Self-objectification of female undergraduates; There are grade differences in negative body image among female undergraduates, and the higher the grade, the lower the level of negative body image of the individual;(3)Mass media use,self-objectification and negative body image are the important factors affecting the restriained eating of female undergraduates, and there are significant correlations between the four; Both sub-dimensions of female undergraduates’ mass media use can positively predict self-objectification,and self-objectification can positively predict restriained eating, where self-objectification plays a mediating role; Both dimensions of mass media use can positively predict negative body image, negative body image can positively predict restriained eating, and negative body image plays a mediating role;Self-objectification and negative body image act as chain mediators between mass media use and restriained eating;(4)Microintervention based on writing tasks can improve the self-object orientation and negative body image levels of female undergraduates in the short term. Therefore, based on the above conclusions, this study provides the following suggestions to help female college students improve the current restrictive dietary phenomenon: Learn to think dialectically, and refuse to make an aesthetic model;Look at your body reasonably, improve the acceptance of defects;Put an end to blind restriained eating and reduce media attention; We will strengthen online supervision and standardize the image of the mass media;Improve psychological flexibility and reduce error correction mentality;Pay attention to physical function, improve self-object change;Combine short-term microintervention to develop positive body image. |
