| With the outbreak of the COVID-19 in 2020,the audience of online games is increasing,and the positive and negative effects of online games on individuals have also become the focus of scholars’ research.Among them,the evolution of female media images in games and their impact on female players have gradually been the focus of academic game communication researchers.The purpose of this research is to conduct three-dimensional consideration and research on the female media image in the most popular mobile MOBA game "Glory of the King".At the same time,the internalization of the ideal media attraction and the sense of game immersion are taken as the influencing factors.The research method of combining quantification and quality is adopted to collect 370 questionnaires from across the country,and eight interviewees are selected for in-depth interviews,Further explore the impact of the female image characteristics presented in the game on the self objectification of female college student players.The research results confirm that the internalization of media attraction ideal plays a mediating role in the influence of female media image in games on female college students’ self objectification,and the sense of game immersion plays a regulating role in the influence of female media image in games on female college students’ self objectification. |
