Early reading is a common concern in preschool education circles in China,and repeated reading is one of the important ways to read picture books.Theoretically,repeated reading teaching is of value to children,preschool teachers and kindergarten picture book reading teaching.However,there are few studies on the organizational form of repeated reading teaching suitable for kindergartens.From the practical level,picture books are important reading materials in kindergartens,and repeated reading is an important form of early reading for children.However,in the actual education and teaching of kindergartens,teachers do not pay much attention to the application of this reading method.It can be seen that in the process of repeated reading teaching of picture books,rational use of the most common reading materials for preschool children--picture books is an important way to develop preschool children’s early reading,language,characters and other abilities.At present,there are still some problems in the implementation of the teaching method of repeated reading of picture books by preschool teachers.In order to understand the real situation of the teaching of repeated reading of picture books in kindergarten classes,this study adopts literature method,interview method and observation method to study :(1)what is the value of the teaching of repeated reading of picture books in kindergarten classes?(2)What are the current situation and existing problems of repeat reading teaching of picture books in kindergarten classes?(3)What are the effective strategies for repeated reading teaching of picture books in kindergarten classes? With five kindergarten(three public garden,two private garden)big picture books repeat reading teaching activities as observation object,combined with the teacher interview code as a result,from the teaching idea,teaching goal,teaching content,teaching organization and teaching evaluation of five dimensions to analyze the status quo,aims to explore the kindergarten taipans picture books repeat the problems existing in the reading teaching,and analyze the causes,Put forward targeted solutions.Through the analysis of teaching cases and the coding and sorting of teachers’ interview materials,it is found that there are five problems in the teaching of repeated reading of picture books in large kindergarten classes: vague teaching concepts,lack of teaching objectives,monotonous teaching content,lack of novelty in teaching organization,and imperfect teaching evaluation.In view of these problems,this study analyzes the causes,and finds that in terms of teaching philosophy,teachers’ awareness of continuing learning is weak,and the teaching arrangement of kindergartens is not reasonable.In terms of teaching objectives,teachers lack clear teaching objectives;In terms of teaching content,teachers lack the willingness to explore the teaching content deeply.In the aspect of teaching organization,teachers’ teaching methods are single,teaching process is solidified and teaching extension is fictitious.In the aspect of teaching evaluation,teachers’ awareness and ability of self-evaluation and other evaluation are weak.Then put forward targeted strategies to improve,including: update the concept,pay attention to children’s repeated reading;Precise target,set repeated reading teaching target around picture books;Enrich the content and increase children’s harvest in repeated reading teaching;Enrich the way of organization and strengthen the interest of repeated reading teaching;Improve the evaluation mechanism and improve the teaching quality of repeated reading.
