| With the alignment of college basketball leagues with professional leagues,the development of campus basketball has been promoted and the level of college basketball has been significantly improved.While the basketball skills of college students are growing,the demand for basketball training equipment is also gradually increasing.Especially for physical education students,traditional training equipment can hardly meet the needs of their own technical improvement.How to choose effective training equipment to improve basketball skills and improve course performance is a common problem faced by physical education students in the general basketball course.The heavy ball is one of the popular basketball training aids in recent years,but it is less used in the general basketball course in colleges and universities.In this thesis,the effect of heavy ball training on basketball dribbling skills of college physical education students is investigated,and the actual effect of heavy ball training on basketball dribbling skills of college physical education students and the feasibility of using heavy ball as an auxiliary equipment in the teaching and training of college physical education students’ general basketball courses is investigated.The feasibility of using the heavy ball as an auxiliary equipment in the general basketball training course in colleges and universities was investigated.In this study,a total of 40 male students of physical education majors of Liaoning Normal University,Class 2021 were selected as the experimental subjects,and the dribbling technique was taught and trained with heavy balls and standard balls using the literature method,expert interview method,experimental method and mathematical and statistical method.Due to the impact of the epidemic,this experiment was conducted after two stages of offline and online teaching training for a total of 27 hours.Through the data obtained from the pre-experimental test,mid-term test and post-test and the comparative analysis of the functions and characteristics of the heavy ball and the standard ball,as well as the comparative analysis of the technical evaluation scores given by two special teachers before and after the experiment,the final conclusions of the study were as follows.1.In terms of test scores,the heavy ball training was significant in improving students’ full-court integrated dribble layup,full-court three round-trip dribble layup,30 s left-handed high dribble in place,30 s left-handed low dribble in place,and 30 s change-of-hand dribble in place compared with the standard ball training;it was not significant in improving students’ 30 s right-handed high dribble in place and 30 s right-handed low dribble in place.2.In terms of improvement,the improvement of students’ full-court integrated dribble layup,full-court three round-trip dribble layup,in-situ 30 s low dribble,in-situ 30 s high dribble,and in-situ 30 s change of hand dribble was greater than that of standard ball training,and students could make faster progress in dribbling skills.3.Compared with the standard ball training,the heavy ball training produced significant improvement in students’ full-court integrated dribble layup,full-court three round-trip dribble layup,30 s low dribble in situ,30 s high dribble in situ,30 s change of hand dribble in situ,and more standardized dribble technique.In conclusion,compared with traditional standard ball training,heavy ball training can strengthen finger wrist and arm strength,enhance hand touch on basketball,improve the control ability of basketball,speed up dribbling speed,standardize dribbling technical movements,and then significantly improve basketball dribbling skills of college physical education students,and it is recommended to increase the promotion of heavy ball in the general basketball course of college physical education majors. |
