Labor creates human beings,and people are constantly affected by labor in their daily life,study and production process.Labor education is an indispensable and important part of school education life.However,due to the influence of exam oriented education,schools,families and society despise and ignore labor education.Therefore,there are ideas of indulging in leisure and hating work and waiting for gains without pains in the student groups,some students lack of consciousness,mastering weakness knowledge of labor and do not cherish the labor achievements.After entering the new era,it is necessary to attach importance to the educational and guiding role of labor practice in school education,instruct students to change their labor concept,help them enhance their labor consciousness through labor practice education,mobilize their enthusiasm to participate in labor practice,train them to form correct values,so as to achieve comprehensive development.This study takes S primary school as an example,and uses the research methods of literature research,case study,questionnaire survey and interview to understand the basic situation of labor education in this school.It analyzes the content,approach,evaluation,and safeguard measure of the implement of labor education in this school,and summarize the practical experience of labor education in the school to find the problems existing in the process,analyze the reasons and put forward corresponding countermeasures.The survey results show that S primary school is in accordance with the provisions of the planned and arranged labor courses,and organizes students to actively participate in labor practice;Moreover,the content of labor education has been expanded,with flexible and diverse implementation methods.With normal sustained labor education in school,however,there are still some problems,such as the perception of labor education is biased,the course of labor education is a mere formality,the requirement of labor education is hard to implement in details,the family labor education is insufficient and in a single form,the evaluation system of labor education is imperfect,and the safeguard mechanism for carrying out labor education is distempered.To highlight the issue in the process of investigation and interview,this study deeply analyzes the reasons for the problems,and refers to the relevant documents and regulations.It is combined with Marx’s relevant discourses on human development and labor,Sukhomlinsky’s creative labor education theory,Xi Jinping’s discussion on labor education in the new era and Goodlad’s curriculum level theory to bulid a implementation system of primary labor education in the new area.The following suggestions for improvement are put forward: Changing the cognition to optimize the environment for labor education,enriching the content for labor education to broaden implementation channels,improving the mechanism of labor education and the guarantee mechanism for the implementation of labor education.
