Kuankuoshui is a type of forest and wildlife Nature Reserve with typical karst landform, located in Suiyang,Zunyi,Guizhou Province of China. The systematic investigation was carried out to elucidate the soil fugus communities' distributionand diversity in Kuankuoshui Nature Reserve for the development and utilization of local fungi resources, and lay the foundation for restoration of karst landform. In order to investigate the distribution and diversity of fungi resources, soil samples were collected at different sites in Kuankuoshui, and 353 strains of fungi were separated by dilution-plate method,34 genera were identified based on ITS analyze. To access the soil fungi diversity, the community species dominance index,Margalef richness,Shannon-Wiener diversity and Pielou evenness index were used to analyze. The results showed that the fungi community Margalef richness index,Shannon-Wiener diversity index and Pielou evenness index in the reserve were5.6252,3.6601,1.0379,respectively.The dominant genera were different in three types of soil, the results as follows: Saccharomyces in purplish soil,Saccharomyces and Mortierella in yellow brown soil,Penicillium and Trichoderma in yellow soil.Margalef richness index and Shannon-Wiener diversity index were highest in purplish soil and lowest in yellow brown soil. The Jaccard similarity coefficient(Cj)between purplish soil and yellow brown soil reached 0.536 which being a moderate similar level, and so did this result in purplish soi and brown soil which Cj was 0.500,the moderate dissimilar level between brown soil and yellow brown soil due to the Cj was0.444.17 fungi strains were identified accurately by morphological characteristics and molecular biology methods, including Chaunopycnis,Paraconiothyrium,Metarhizium,Aspergillus and Cladosporium,1 strain for each genus, and 2 strains of Penicillium,2 strains of Mortierella,8 strains of Trichoderma. The functions of insert pest control and antimicrobial activities in some strains were preliminary evaluated, which could be used as a resource for bio-control andsustainable development of agriculture and forestry.
