The ocean has rich biodiversity and important ecosystem services,which is of great significance to the survival and development of human beings.However,human activities such as fishing,shipping and mineral resources exploitation also pose threats to the Marine environment.Generally speaking,Marine environmental protection still lags behind that of land.The construction of a community with a shared future of the ocean should focus on the regulation of Marine plastic pollution and other problems that threaten the global Marine ecological environment.In particular,Marine microplastics seriously pollute the Marine environment and threaten the survival of Marine organisms and the health of the ecosystem.And is easily eaten by fish and other Marine organisms,into the food chain,and then pose a threat to human health.International law plays an indispensable role in the international community's response to Marine plastic and microplastic pollution by providing legal system guarantee.This paper is divided into four parts,the first part describes the concept and harm of Marine microplastics,by introducing the impact of Marine microplastics on economy and biology,reflects the necessity of controlling Marine microplastics.The second part mentioned the legal framework for the management of Marine microplastics,It also mentioned three aspects of rules,which are global,regional and national.The third part of the main content is the current international law system existing deficiencies.In the fourth part of the thesis,the author gives corresponding answers to the shortcomings mentioned above.
