| Inner Mongolia Xingye Mining Co.,Ltd.,headquartered in Chifeng City,Inner Mongolia,is a listed company integrating non-ferrous metal geological exploration,mining and smelting business.The company’s main products are lead,zinc,copper,iron,bismuth,tungsten,silver,tin and other non-ferrous metals,precious metals and ferrous metals.The company now has 14 subsidiaries.The company’s business as a whole is divided into four parts: mining,smelting,investment and trade.It has developed well in recent years.This paper takes the non-ferrous metal business of Inner Mongolia Xingye Mining Co.,Ltd.as the research object,and analyzes the selection and implementation of the non-ferrous metal business competitive strategy based on the theory of enterprise competitive strategy management.Firstly,this paper makes a general analysis of the development of non-ferrous metals industry at home and abroad,and uses Porter’s Five Forces Model to make a comprehensive analysis of the external competitive environment of non-ferrous metals business in Xingye Mining.It finds that the external competitive advantage of non-ferrous metals business in Xingye Mining is greater than its disadvantage,which provides a favorable external environment for its effective competition.Secondly,it calculates the advantages and disadvantages of the company’s internal non-ferrous metal business by the factor evaluation matrix,and finds that the company has the advantages of strong access to mineral resources and diversified non-ferrous metal categories,but the disadvantages are also relatively obvious.The cultural structure of employees is unreasonable,their own research and development ability is weak,and safety production management needs to be strengthened.According to the matrix calculation,the advantages of internal resources in Xingye mining non-ferrous metals business are greater than the disadvantages.It is necessary for the company to make full use of the advantages of internal resources,develop strengths and avoid weaknesses,and formulate a competitive strategy.Through the above assessment of the internal and external environment of Xingye Mining and the analysis of the company’s non-ferrous metals business competition strategy,the paper formulates the total cost leading competition strategy of Inner Mongolia Xingye Mining Co.,Ltd.non-ferrous metals business.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of thecompetitive strategy of the non-ferrous metals business in Xingye mining industry,the paper further proposes the safeguard measures based on the total cost leading strategy.In this dissertation,by combining theory with practice,using Porter’s Five Forces Model and IFE matrix calculation method,the competitive strategy of non-ferrous metal business in Xingye Mining Industry is studied.The conclusions drawn from the study are of positive significance to enhance the overall competitiveness of the non-ferrous metals business in Xingye Mining Industry and enhance the strength of enterprises,and provide valuable case references for other enterprises in the industry. |
