Proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC)is a kind of power generation device which can convert chemical energy stored in fuel into electric energy.It has the characteristics of high efficiency,clean,high reliability and fast start-up.Fuel cell electric vehicle is an electric vehicle that uses PEMFC as the main power source.It has the characteristics of high efficiency,long endurance,environmental protection,and low noise.FCV has become a hot research topic,and PEMFC,as the core of FCV,will definitely become the focus of people's research.Electric vehicle PEMFC is a non-linear and complex system,which has many characteristics,such as energy management,water management,thermal management,cold start,durability and so on.It is a very important research means to establish corresponding mathematical models for these models and conduct simulation experiment analysis through powerful simulation software.At the same time,the neural network algorithm is used to analyze the PEMFC experimental data,which complement each other with the simulation means.This paper first summarizes the development history and research status of fuel cell at home and abroad,and then expounds the basic principle,classification and advantages of fuel cell,as well as the basic principle,classification and advantages of fuel cell vehicles,Through the analysis of the key technologies of PEMFC,this paper leads to the research content of this paper.Then,on the basis of previous research results,the mathematical model of fuel cell output voltage and the PEMFC characteristics of electric vehicle(energy management characteristics,water management characteristics,thermal management characteristics,cold start,durabilit y)are established.Then,on the Matlab 2014b/Simulink simulation platform,by the modeling and simulation of relatively single output voltage,power and efficiency.Analyzing working temperature,reaction gas pressure and membrane water content on the output voltage,power and efficiency,it is concluded that the output characteristics of PEMFC can be improved by properly increasing the working temperature,the bipolar gas pressure and increasing the water content of the membrane.And combined with the actual operating conditions of the vehicle to adjust the parameter values of each factor to meet the actual power demand of the vehicle,and further analyze the relevant characteristics of the fuel cell of the electric vehicle.Then,carry on the experiment with30 k W PEMFC,use the neural network algorithm in Matlab2014 b to train the experimental data,and predict the parameters under different working conditions,and then use the neural network algorithm to train the durability test data and predict the service life of PEMFC.Finally,combined with the application of PEMFC in the actual vehicle,according to the power demand of vehicle starting,acceleration,uniform speed,climbing,deceleration,downhill,braking and other different operating conditions and adjusting the working temperature,cathode partial pressure,anode partial pressure,membrane water content and other related parameters of PEMFC in time.In order to improve the battery output performance and further analyze the characteristics of electric vehicle PEMFC.This paper analyzes the relatively single output characteristics of PEMFC in terms of voltage,power,efficiency,etc.To indirectly studying the relatively complex characteristics of PEMFC,such as energy management,water management,thermal management,cold start and so on.And use artificial neural network algorithm to predict the various parameters of PEMFC under different working conditions and predict the service life of PEMFC.Then,it combined with the actual working conditions of FCV vehicles and the predicted results to adjust the parameter values of PEMFC.It provides a way of thinking for the follow-up research on the related characteristics of electric vehicle PEMFC.
