According to the requirements of GB-18401 testing standards for textiles,which detects the p H value and formaldehyde content,textile testing samples need to be cut into small pieces.Nowadays the most common method which large examination organizations use to cut cloth is manual cutting.However,manual cutting has low efficiency.Besides,it is hard to make sure the fabric samples have the same size and shape after cutting which may cause error of the test results.In this situation,it is necessary to make automated cutting machine.The main research object is cutting machine which can realize the function of automatically cutting the textile fabric sample into 6 mm* 6 mm small cloth pieces.With the help of this machine,it is possible to cut cloth automatically rather than manually in order to save labor costs,improve efficiency and optimize quality of fragments.After cutting the cloth into pieces,division system can mainly transfer the cut pieces and separate them regarding to the requirements of test and weight.The main research contents are shown as follow:(1)Structure design of automatic cloth cutting machineIn this paper,the structure of four types of automatic cloth cutting machine including strip needle arrangementcloth cutting machine,plate needle-arrangement cloth cutting machine,cutting machine with holding mechanism and double station automatic cutting machineare introduced.Moreover,test verification to each type and existing problems are discussed.As for strip needle-arrangement cloth cutting machine and plate needle-arrangement cloth cutting machine and cutting machine with holding mechanism,the reasons of these problems are analyzed.Eventually,the double station automatic cutting machine is designed.(2)Automatic cloth cutting machine control systemKeil C software is used to complete the software programming of automatic cloth cutting machine in C language environment.STC15W4K58S4 microcontroller is used to develop the control board so that it can realize the control and drive of each mechanism on the automatic cloth cutting machine.(3)Design of weighing system for textile fragmentsIn order to complete the p H test system of integrated automation system and the formaldehyde content,there still need a sample weighing system for the transfer of debris which is chopped by the machine.Then,the cloth in accordance with the standards of 2±0.05 g,is put into a conical flask.In order to make it easier,suction nozzle structure is chosen to finish this part.With the help of the cross rail,this suction nozzle structure can collect the chopped cloth samples.ANSYS Fluent is used to analyze the influence of different nozzle shapes on suction size,and the most appropriate shape size was selected for design.In addition,the selected shape size was simulated as well.
