With the rapid development of high-precision manufacturing industry,more and more complex thin-walled structural parts are put into production and use.Aiming at the typical thin-walled aluminum alloy frame of parts machining difficulty,from the material of cutting mechanism,the selection of cutting tools and cutting parameters,fixture design and processing craft route formulation,etc.,to systematically study the machining process,provides technical reference for the process of such parts,has important practical significance and broad application prospects.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,the ABAQUS software was used to simulate the cutting process of aluminum alloy materials,to obtain the cloud map of stress,strain,temperature distribution and cutting force curve of the materials during the cutting process,to study the influence law of the cutting temperature on the cutting parameters,and to test the accuracy of the prediction results of the cutting force obtained by simulation.Then,single factor and orthogonal tests were carried out to study the influence of the cutting parameters on the surface roughness and cutting force of aluminum alloy.Finally,the above research results are combined with the results of modal analysis of the part processing process to complete the design of the fixture,the optimal selection of tools and cutting parameters,the optimization of the trajectory of the cutting tool,and the writing of the processing program.After processing and quality inspection,the surface roughness,shape and position tolerances,and dimensional accuracy of the processed parts meet the technical requirements,which provides guidance and reference for the processing of other thin-walled parts of the same material.
