With the development of automation technology,various industries are transforming and upgrading in the direction of higher levels of automation and intelligence.Considering the flexibility of AGV(Automated Guided Vehicle)technology and the advantages of high handling efficiency,this article uses AGV to realize the automated handling of materials.As one of the most traditional industries in China,the textile industry has a huge demand for textile materials.However,the material handling in most textile workshops is basically in the manual handling mode,which has the disadvantages of low handling efficiency,high labor intensity,extensive management methods and so on.In addition,in recent years,problems such as manpower shortage in the textile industry have become prominent so that the automatic handling of materials has become particularly important.Thus,an automatic cotton bucket handling system was developed.The main research contents of this article are as follows:The research background is a domestic textile workshop.Based on the environmental layout and technological process of the textile workshop,the needs of cotton bucket handling at carding and drawing frames were analyzed,and the AGV's handling route,quantity,system handling process,and security were designed.Taking stability,reliability,and practicability into account,a research and analysis was conducted on the AGV driving method,navigation and positioning method,bucket handling device,safety module,automatic charging and human machine interface.Then an AGV was designed and subjected to a bucket transportation experiment.By investigating related AGV path planning technology,a topology map was modeled based on the actual environment of the workshop.An improved A* algorithm considering AGV turning factors and path heat was proposed and simulated.A traffic conflict resolution strategy based on RFID was designed for the path conflicts of multiple AGVs.Finally,the functional analysis of the host computer software of the bucket transportation system was carried out.The main functional modules were designed and developed by using C# language.The experimental result of the developed bucket transportation system software was favorable.
