Due to the nonlinear characteristics of the liquid under external excitation,the dynamic analysis of sloshing liquid is critical for the investigation the fluid-structure interaction of the heavy liquid tanker system.The phenomenon and characteristics of the sloshing liquid in the tank is simulated based on the computational fluid dynamic software.On the basis,by calculating the result from computational fluid dynamic software,an equivalent mechanical model for predicting the longitudinal sloshing behavior of the liquid in the tank is established.The structural parameters of the equivalent mechanical system are solved by the genetic algorithm.Comparing with simulation data,the equivalent mechanical model is further optimized and reconstruction.The series 2DOF model,the parallel 2DOF model and the hybrid 3DOF model are represented respectively.The prediction accuracy of these three models is evaluated by the experimental result.It is indicated that the hybrid 3DOF model is effective in all cases of different aspect-ratio and different filled level.Further more,the sloshing characteristics of the liquid in the tank with baffle are discussed.The effects of baffle during sloshing are simulated.The pressure on shell cover,the sloshing force and moment,the load transfer coefficient,and the waving of free surface are analyzing respectively based on the comparison with the simulation result.To ensure whether the model is still predictable in the tank with baffle,the parameters of model are recalculated.By evaluating the equivalent mechanical model,the limitation of the equivalent mechanical system is revealed.Focus on the sloshing force and moment the Elman neural network is applied and the prediction model of neural network is established.It is indicated that the Elman neural network model is efficient in both tank with or without baffles.And the precision of prediction is evaluated in all cases of filled level and aspect ratio.Relying on the established longitudinal liquid sloshing prediction model,the longitudinal dynamics of the tanker vehicle with and without baffle are analyzed with a semi-tractor trailer model.The braking dynamics of the vehicle are discussed through the simulation of vehicle models with different initial speeds,different braking strengths and different road friction coefficients.The simulation results show that the liquid longitudinal sloshing model proposed in the investigation can be used as an equivalent model for describing the characteristics of liquid longitudinal sloshing during the dynamic analysis of the tank vehicle.
