| In recent years,China’s economy develops rapidly,the overseas trade becomes more and more frequent,and international transportation increases too.At the same time,major coastal port cities in China are also developing port infrastructure to cope with the rapid growth of import and export cargo.Container transportation plays an important role in ocean transportation system.Because of its advantages such as easy transit,safety and simplification of operation procedures,container transportation occupies a large proportion in ocean cargo transportation.Faced with the increasing volume of container cargo year by year,ports should make full use of its resources and improve the efficiency of container operations to provide more efficient service for arriving ships.To improve the efficiency of container transfer and reduce the time of ships in port,first of all,it is necessary to reasonably allocate berths for arriving ships.Since the construction of port berths is constrained by the inherent geographical environment,optimizing berth allocation,improving berth utilization and reducing vessel’s work time in port have become the main issues of container port operations.Therefore,the research on berth allocation is of great significance in both theoretical and practical operations.Based on the above background,the main research object of this paper is joint berth allocation of several ports in near areas.Breaking through the limitation of previous research on single port,this paper is based on the idea of port cooperation which means the arrived ships may change their exception port to a near port to work.So,considering the time cost of ships,change port shifting cost and port loss,a multi-port and multi-berth joint allocation optimization model is established to minimize the total cost of the three parts.According to the characteristics of the model,the Tabu search algorithm based on access criteria is designed to solve the model.The real number system coding with 0 as separator is adopted to make the final solution easier to read,and sweep and cross operators are used to make the algorithm work faster.I firstly setting different scales of examples to verify the validity of the model.Secondly,I code the algorithm in MATLAB,then solve different numerical examples by algorithm and CPLEX,and compare the results of the two methods to verify validity of the algorithm.After that,according to the time cost weight coefficient and port operation expense cost weight coefficient,the density of ship’s arrival time,the number of port berths configuration and ship’s container loading and unloading volume factors that affect the final berth allocation are analyzed.Finally,I summarize the contents of the study and put forward some suggestions on the management of container port operation based on the results of the experiments. |
