Illegal Use Of High Beam Automatic Capture System Research

At present,the abuse of high beam at night is so serious that accidents are increasingly happening.In order to ensure the safety of vehicles traveling at night,and guide people to use the high beam light correctly,this paper presents a detecting method of the state of high beam light turned on or off in a traveling vehicle at night,based on morphology,which can apply for the discrimination of high beam light on-off state in different light environment at night.The system automatically detects vehicles through the monitoring pictures in real-time.When a vehicle uses the high beam light through the monitoring sections at night,the beam characteristics will be extracted,and the on-off state of high beam light will be estimated,thus the vehicle will be located and tracked.By calculating continuous time with high beam on,light environment,traffic flows and other elemets in the monitoring area,the vehicle will be determined whether its high beam light is abusing used.If abused,the system will automatically save image sequence of three key position and vehicle's short videos of using high beam light,including the information of site,vehicle's color,motorcycle type,vehicle plate.All the information will be the obedience of enforcement of law.In this paper,on-off state of high beam light is detected,the information of vehicles using high beam light illegally is recorded through the technology of wide dynamic imaging and double cameras.Experiments show that the algorithm proposed in this paper has a correct rate of 90%,capture rate of 60%.Experiments show that the algorithm proposed has strong robustness.
