The Design Of Chinese Cultural And Creative Derivatives Based On The Cultural Connotation Of The Twenty-four Solar Terms

As the product of farming civilization in the Central Plains region,the twenty-four solar terms embodies the wisdom of the Chinese ancestors,constitutes an important part of the Chinese nation’s long history and culture,and is listed by UNESCO as the intangible cultural heritage of mankind.In order to carry forward the traditional Chinese culture,this paper tries to use the modern design concept and practice method to design the composition characters of the twenty-four solar terms,making the Chinese characters concrete and graphic.On the premise of fully respecting the traditional Chinese graphic concept,this paper makes a reasonable artistic treatment of the twenty-four solar terms,and designs a series of articles with practical functions and in line with the contemporary aesthetic.The creation of derivatives can maximize the cultural connotation of the twenty-four solar terms,enhance people’s impression and understanding of the twenty-four solar terms,and thus help to carry forward the traditional culture of the motherland.
