With the rise of STEAM education,the focus of youth music education shifts to musical composition.Musical composition can cultivate students' creativity and high perception.However,there're some defects in the musical composition education in existence,such as the monotonous education content and methods,weak foundation of teenagers' music theory,mismatch between musical interest and musical learning.At the same time,with the rapid development of electronic technology and the gradual deepening of the concept of interactive design,product design for teenagers is developing in the direction of high technology,humanization,and intelligence.On the basis of it,smart products have gradually added the meaning of education under the original entertainment functions.More and more developers and educators are trying to apply them in the field of education.As a segmented and important user group,how to explore the function definition and operational logic of their musical education products,so as to achieve better teenagers' musical education,has important influence and significance.This thesis is based on The flow theory and mainly concerned with smart musical product design for teenagers.It aims to create a relaxed and interesting experience for teenagers and lead them to learn music theory and compose during play.First of all,the thesis elaborated the theoretical research on the characteristics of youth,musical education and the flow theory,and proposed the feasibility of applying the flow theory to the design of intelligent music products for teenagers.Subsequently,the design characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of the different types of music smart products were sorted out,and the demand and opportunities of market were obtained.Through the research of the target groups,the user's needs and product design principles were clarified.Based on the flow theory,by integrating the PAT model and the seven elements of behavior,a matching model was constructed to derive a four-level design strategy for smart music products for teenagers,which were specific and clear assignment,natural and diverse operations,reasonable and rich feedback and pleasant emotions.Finally,under the guidance of the deduced design strategy,the design idea is improved,and the software and hardware system design of the product is launched.This thesis helps to enrich the theoretical system of the flow theory in the field of product design in a theoretical sense,and expands the scope of application of the flow theory;in the practical sense,it proposes a new approach to youth musical composition in the new period,which provides innovative ideas for youth smart music products design strategies and recommendations to optimize the product user experience for young people.
