The energy system is an important foundation for high-quality economic and social development.China's electric power is dominated by fossil energy for a long time,which has played a vital role in the rapid development of China's economy.Yet China is already the world's largest emitter of carbon dioxide.In order to ensure national energy security strategy needs in the new period of development of our country as well as to the need of social development,the positive response to global climate change,carbon dioxide emissions,must unswervingly promote the development of green energy,green energy development is a new road with Chinese characteristics,we must speed up the construction of clean,low carbon,safe and efficient energy systems,to lead the global energy carbon management action.Small hydropower groups are an important part of clean energy in China and an important way for the transformation and development of low carbon energy in China.Under the premise that national policies comprehensively promote low-carbon energy transformation,it is very necessary to improve the power generation output of clean energy small hydropower and the stable operation level of connecting to the grid system,and to study the stable control of isolated network operation of small hydropower groups.This paper introduces the power system operation status of a small hydropower group isolated network in yunnan province,and analyzes the problems of voltage and frequency control and the risk of isolated network breakdown in the isolated network system with small hydropower groups.In order to solve the problem of system stability control during operation of isolated network in small hydropower group intensive power generation area,and reduce the occurrence of accidents such as isolated network disassembly,power system collapse and large area blackout,etc.In this paper,an isolated network operation system department of a small hydropower group in Yunnan province is taken as the research object,and the necessity of this research is discussed.Through theoretical research and control strategy simulation,this paper puts forward a set of suitable for small hydropower intensive regional security and stability of power system after the isolated net control strategy,which can effectively improve the special regional grid system at the end.
