As an important public service space in the city,the vegetable market appears in every citizen's daily life,carrying the "taste of memory" of every family.At the same time,the vegetable market is closely related to the development of the city,which is one of the key points of the current planning of a city.However,with the progress of science and technology,the material and spiritual life of urban residents has been greatly improved,the demand of consumers for the sense of consumption experience and service has also increased,and the offline consumption mode has gradually changed to online consumption under the change of payment mode.The transformation of consumption makes the vegetable market space exposed more disadvantages under the condition of poor environment and unreasonable spatial layout.The decrease of consumer attraction and the emergence of other consumption patterns are constantly squeezing the living space of the vegetable market.In order to explore the future development direction of the vegetable market,based on the theory of the historical development and consumption transformation of the vegetable market,this paper makes an on-the-spot investigation on the vegetable market in Nanjing.Through the on-the-spot investigation,it summarizes the survival status of the vegetable market under the background of consumption transformation,and summarizes the existing problems.On this basis,this paper analyzes the consumption trend of the current consumption transformation,and puts forward the optimization strategies of the vegetable market space to meet the consumer demand,optimize the service mode and consumption experience of the traditional vegetable market space under the consumption transformation,and explore the future development direction of the vegetable market through this research,so as to make it conform to the development of the times and maintain its vitality.
