The electromagnetic flowmeter is an instrument that uses the electromagnetic induction theorem to measure the flow of conductive fluid based on the electromotive force induced when the conductive fluid passes through an external magnetic field.Electromagnetic flowmeters are widely used in many fields such as industry,agriculture,and manufacturing.Because the traditional two-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter cannot measure non-axisymmetric flow,its accuracy is too low in practical applications.In order to improve the intelligence of the monitoring system,this paper studies the electromagnetic flowmeter with multiple pairs of electrodes from the flow rate reconstruction algorithm,software and hardware,and designs an eight-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter system.First of all,according to the design requirements and official verification regulations,the design index and system composition are described,and the working principle of multi electrode electromagnetic flowmeter is described.Secondly,provide the electric potential simulation and velocity solving algorithm at the flowmeter measurement interface.A high-precision area division method is used to simulate through COMSOL Multiphysics to find the weight value of each area.Aiming at the ill-posed problem of electromagnetic flow rate,an improved regularization algorithm is used to solve the velocity reconstruction value.The simulation and calculation results show that the design is reasonable and correct with low error.Third,establish the hardware system of the multi-electrode electromagnetic flowmeter.The embedded chip S3C2440 with ARM9 core is adopted to modularize the sensing part and signal conversion,including the minimum system of main control module,power supply module,excitation output module,signal processing module,communication module,etc.Subsequently,the software of this system was designed.Based on Linux system and Lab VIEW software,the design and development of this system software are described.Including platform construction,boot loader and Linux kernel transplantation,device driver programming,file system creation and application programming.In addition to the common LCD display,the upper computer display and data storage functions are added to realize the integrated design of the upper and lower computers of the system.Finally,debugging and experimental analysis are carried out to verify the correctness of the entire system.After the hardware module circuit is successfully debugged,a platform is built for testing,and the system equipment is evaluated based on the experimental data.The experimental results show that the maximum allowable error is only 0.39%,and the accuracy level is 0.5,which meets the design standard.
