Study On The Growth And Development And Change Of Carcass Meat Quality Of Kele Pigs

Kele pig is a special grazing pig breed that grows in the alpine mountainous area of northwestern in Guizhou Province,and it is an important group of Wujin pig.The aim of this program is to evaluate the growth and development of Kele pigs and the meat quality of different slaughter weights.The feeding stage of Kele pig was divided by the growth curve of Kele pigs.Compare the slaughter,carcass and muscle quality of the three slaughter weight ranges of 100-110 kg,110-120 kg and 120-130 kg of Kele pigs in order to explore the optimal slaughter weight of Kele pigs.The main results are as follows:(1)The growth curve of Kele pigs through a non-linear fitting model found that the optimal weight growth model is the von Bertalnffy model,the model expression is Wt=173.575(1-0.843e-0.006t)3.The optimal body height and body length models are Logistic models,and the model expressions are Ht=60.598/(1+ 3.174e-0.013t)and Lt=125.088/(1+ 4.239e-0.015t)respectively.The optimal growth model for chest circumference is Gompertz model,the model expression is Ct=145.232e-1.893*exp(-0.007t).Further analysis of growth and development curve,turning point age,and turning point weight,Kele pigs was divided into four feeding stages: 0 to 90 days is the slow growth period,90 to 210 days is the fast growth period,210 to 300 days is the decelerating growth period,and after 300 days is the plateau period.These results provide a basis material for the stage feeding of Kele pigs.(2)The linear model,quadratic model,cubic model,exponential model,and power model were used to perform regression analysis on the weight and body length,height,and bust of Kele pigs.The results found that the formula for estimating body weight using body length: W = 0.0069L2 + 0.1408L-6.2896 or W =-3E-06L3 + 0.0074L2 + 0.113L-5.8499,the formula for weight estimation using height: W = 0.0008H3-0.0391H2+ 2.0933H-24.592,the formula for estimation weight using chest circumference: W=-6E-05C3 + 0.0176C2-0.2881C-0.8532.The result provide a reference for the weight estimation of Kele pigs.(3)Correlation analysis indicated that there is a significant level between some indexes of growth and development indicators,slaughter and carcass indicators,and meat quality indicators.The results suggested that we can reducing selection indicators in breeding of Kele pigs.(4)The law of body weight,slaughter and carcass,and muscle quality showed that the ideal slaughter weight of Kele pigs is 100-110 kg.
