Objective:In order to provide a reference for clinic,this paper discusses the application rules of Coptis chinensis in pediatric diseases by selecting the representative pediatric ancient books from Song Dynasty to Ming and Qing Dynasties.Methods:The prescription containing Coptis chinensis in 10 ancient paediatric books was searched as the original data.After standardized treatment,it was processed according to the list of internal administration,other prescriptions(external use,unilateral prescription,adding Coptis chinensis prescription,special usage).The application rules of Coptis chinensis in paediatric diseases were counted and summarized by frequency analysis from four aspects:prescription type,processing method,prescription and drug introduction,and medication time.Through the professional interpretation of ancient and modern,statistical internal prescription composition,efficacy,main treatment and other items,from the most distributed paediatric diseases,the highest frequency of compatibility of various diseases,the overall efficacy of the prescription to interpret the compatibility law of Coptis chinensis.Results:The total of 545 prescriptions were selected as the original data,including 498 internal prescription,103 external prescription,15 unilateral prescription and 19 Huanglian prescription.The proportion of processing methods was 21.10%,17.80%and 6.97%respectively,and the highest frequency of drug introduction was rice drink,honey and porridge,accounting for 30.82%,14.50%and 6.05%,respectively,and 12.11%,11.74%and 8.81%respectively,and the proportion of pre-food,time-free and air clothing was the highest(12.11%,11.74%,8.81%),and the proportion of rice drink,honey and porridge was 30.82%,14.50%,6.05%,12.11%,11.80%and 8.81%respectively,and the proportion of pre-food,non-time and air clothing was the highest(12.11%,11.80%and 8.81%,respectively),and the proportion of rice drink,honey and porridge was 30.82%,14.50%and 6.05%,respectively.The most common paediatric diseases treated by Coptis chinensis were chancre,febrile disease and dysentery,accounting for 30.5%.32%,23.29%,21.6%;among them,the most common combination of chancre,dysentery,abdominal pain and diarrhea was insect repellent,qi regulating medicine and tonifying deficiency medicine;the most common combination of irritating heat and febrile disease was heat clearing drug and purging medicine:the frequency of clearing away heat,detoxifying and invigorating spleen was 21.02%,10.70%and 7.16%,respectively.Coptis chinensis was used as flavoring medicine in dysentery,eye disease and chancre.Conclusion:Coptis chinensis is often used in the prescription of paediatric syndrome;fried,alcoholic,ginger juice and Cornus officinalis are often used in the processing;rice drink,rice porridge and honey mix are also selected to treat deficiency syndrome before eating,killing insects and stopping dysentery,and taking medicine after eating at a time of stagnation.Huang Lian said that the most common treatment for childhood diseases was chancre,dysentery,diarrhea,fever and abdominal pain.Coptis chinensis to clear heat,detoxification,purging fire and so on as the main efficacy,can be combined with other drugs to cool blood,astringent intestines,insecticidal and so on;Coptis chinensis can not be excessive,can not be taken for a long time,the prescription should pay attention to the compatibility with drugs such as invigorating the spleen and nourishing yin,or take the processing method to introduce meridians,orthopaedic,don't take it as a prescription to abuse;Coptis chinensis is rich in external use,unilateral prescription,prescription addition and special use,which can be studied and excavated in follow-up.
