The importance and necessity of the investigation of the existence of ancient medical books and the collation of relevant information are self-evident.Especially for the collation and research of the ancient books of Chinese medicine,it has the significance of rescue Research on the ancient block-printed books of traditional Chinese medicine in the National Library of China is based on the project of Beijing Social Science Foundation—The research on the catalogue arrangement and utilization of the traditional Chinese medicine books in Beijing, which is sponsored by Professor Wang Yulin. In the process of completing the project,we found that not only the research on the special description and resource utilization of this part of ancient Chinese medicine books is still an academic blank to be filled, but also there is no comprehensive research on the ancient Chinese medicine books collected by libraries. In the project team,I am mainly responsible for the investigation and summary of the books collected by the National Library of China. The final results have been funded by Beijing Chinese medicine culture research base and will be published in the National Library PressThrough a long-term data search and on-the-spot investigation,I have a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine in the National Library.According to the General Catalogue of Chinese Medicine(hereinafter referred to as the General Catalogue),there are 1898 kinds of ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine in the National Library, including 79 kinds of solitary printed books before 1912,there are 1898 kinds of ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine in the National Library, including 79 kinds of solitary printed books before 1911,1 kind of printed books in Song Dynasty,1 kind in Yuan Dynasty,23 kinds in Ming Dynasty and 54 kinds in Qing Dynasty.According to the General Catalogue, there are 2 kinds of basic theories,7 kinds of Shanghan Jinkui,5 kinds of diagnostic methods,1 kind of acupuncture and massage,6 kinds of Materia Medica,23 kinds of prescriptions,25 kinds of clinical medical books,5 kinds of health preservation,2 kinds of medical cases,2 kinds of medical theory and 3 kinds of comprehensive works. Therefore, the unique medical books in the national library are many rare and rich in types, which are an important part of the existing ancient Chinese medicine books. This is not only the deepening of the research on the ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine in the National Library, but also the further extension of the achievements of the Beijing Social Science Foundation project. After preliminary screening according to the General Catalogue, combined with the OPAC online public directory query system of the National Library of China, the official website of the National Library of China, the related databases of ancient Chinese medicine books at home and abroad, and the field investigation,79 kinds of ancient Chinese medicine books in solitary edition were researched one by one according to the dynasties.By using bibliography, edition, collation and other traditional philology research methods, combined with historical chronology research method and classification research method, this paper studies different kinds of the only existing printed medical books, and makes relevant investigation and textual research on the author's biographer, book completion time, printing time, paper, preface and postscript, common rules, catalogue, collation and annotation.incomplete situation, body style and content of the original book. The results of the research have some supplements and corrections to the related descriptions in the involved catalog books, reference books and databases(such as further clarifying the existence and loss of Medical Books);recording the format in detail;researching and supplementing the life of the author, biographer and publisher;researching and supplementing the book forming time and printing time of relevant medical books,so it is difficult to clarify the book forming and printing time If the time is printed, the time range can be narrowed through relevant textual research;if the medical books are difficult to read, the preface and postscript can be extracted;if the medical books are difficult to read,a brief overview can be made through the directory and textTherefore, the innovation and significance of this research can be summarized as the following five aspectsFirst, according to the General Catalogue of Chinese Medicine, the basic information of all the only existing block-printed ancient Chinese medicine books in the national library is integrated. For the first time, the collection of national library is specially investigated and verified based on the catalogue of ancient Chinese medicine books. Not only further clarify the General Catalogue of some medical records, but also compare with the National Library Collection description information, through collecting relevant data for textual research and field investigation of relevant medical records, the national library has a comprehensive grasp of the collection of Chinese medicine orphan. In addition, the author, age, version, volume, number of copies, catalogue, content and other general situation are integrated, which enrich the basic information of TCM literature, and provide the basis for the research of TCM literature.Second, the comprehensive survey of 79 ancient Chinese medical books is the first general survey of the isolated ancient Chinese medicine books in the National Library of China. The work of the existing achievements is either compilation, which collects a large number of materials, but the textual research work is relatively limited;or for the textual research of part of the information of a single book,it fails to integrate the only existing block-printed medical books. In the face of the current relatively rich collation results, through identification, give a comprehensive judgment in line with the standard of the times, which is conducive to the needs of the research forward.Third, the first time, the edition and layout of the the only existing block-printed Chinese medicine ancient books collected in the national library were recorded in the examination. In addition to the previous version and format information, the specific bibliography is also involved in and includes the bibliographic information of the book and the preface and postscript of the book,so as to make comprehensive use of the information to comprehensively verify the bibliography involved, and provide the most authentic materials for the research of ancient Chinese medicine books.Fourth, for the lack of version information, the lack of author information, literature research has not been paid attention to,the existing Chinese medicine ancient books catalog works only keep the item but no abstract, and the lack of basic information in modern research, after personal check reading, corrected the clerical errors and added new information.Specifically,5 authors of medical books and 6 related information of authors were supplemented;17 information about the completion and printing of medical books were corrected;and 3 information about the existence and loss of medical books were clarified. In addition,8 errors in the title, format, volume number and content of the book were corrected. For example,Mingtang Tu Shuo(the General Catalogue No.02156)are not medical books at all,but they are included, which is a big mistake. It shows that the arranger did not check the original books, and only classified them as medical books by book title or author's background.Although the Ming Yi Er Zhu(the General Catalogue No.05538)is a fragmentary edition, the 3-5 volumes we have seen now are actually the combined edition of Wang Lun's Wang Jiezhai Xiaoer Yishu and Questions and Answers on Medical Theory.Wang Jiezhai Xiaoer Yishu is the only edition found at present, and Questions and Answers on Medical Theory is another discovery in addition to the Ming Jiajing edition collected in Zhejiang LibraryFifthly,in addition to the above, there are still some books in the National Library, but they are not included in the general catalogue. For example, the General Catalogue records 10 manuscripts of Lu Maoxiu,a doctor in Qing Dynasty, and many manuscripts, but the General Catalogue does not record that there are also manuscripts of Shuiyin Zhifa,Shibuzhai Yilun,Suixiju Huoluan Lun and Neijing Yipian Bingshi in the National Library.Because the National Library of China has no special description for the collection of traditional Chinese medicine,it is unable to get the exact comparison results. However, this situation suggests that scholars should pay special attention to and keep records at any time when taking the General Catalogue and the National Library collection as the research objects,so as to supplement and improve the records of the General Catalogue and the whole TCM literatureThe research results can update the catalog, verify the version, and collate errors in bibliography. For the library,it can supplement and correct the lack of information and errors, restore the authenticity of medical information from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, provide the basis and basis for the digitization of books, and provide ideas for the collation of other medical books. At the same time, the research is closely related to the literature of traditional Chinese medicine, exegetics and clinical subjects of TCM.From the material,we can further explore the National Library's treasure books and good books, clarify the origin and flow of relevant medical books, strengthen the use of the library of TCM documents, enrich the theoretical research of traditional Chinese medicine;from the content,it has a complementary and rich role in the field of traditional Chinese medicine literature, and through the exploration of fresh and vivid first-hand materials,It also provides a reliable material basis for the research of the history of TCM development. The specific content can be compared with the spread of medical records, the spread of text, the analysis of academic heritage, the study of medical history culture and the exploration of clinical use value.Traditional Chinese medicine is the key to open the treasure house of Chinese civilization.Ancient books of traditional Chinese medicine are precious heritage and resources of traditional Chinese medicine, especially the orphan edition. The research on the ancient Chinese medicine books collected in the National Library of China is an important part of the collation of ancient Chinese books. Its content extends to the theoretical discussion of traditional Chinese medicine, scientific research, clinical application, discipline construction, digitalization of traditional Chinese medicine, industrial development of traditional Chinese medicine and many other aspects, and its significance penetrates into many disciplines such as philology, library science, traditional Chinese medicine and so on.
