Through multi-angle and multi-level data mining, combined with qualitative interviews with experts, this paper summarizes the medication rules and academic thoughts of Professor Cheng Zhiqiang in the treatment of middle and advanced colorectal cancer,in order to inherit and spread expert experience, enrich clinical and scientific research ideas, and explore the combination mode of data mining technology and TCM experience inheritance,so as to provide a real and objective basis for TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of advanced colorectal cancer.Through literature retrieval, screening and carding, the current situation of TCM diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer was summarized. The prescriptions of middle and advanced colorectal cancer patients who were treated in the outpatient clinic of Professor Cheng Zhiqiang,Department of Integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,Department of Oncology,China-Japan Friendship Hospital from October 2015 to October 2020 were collected, and a new prescription database was built according to the discharge standard, and the clinical standard cleaning data were unified.according to the disease stage, the data were divided into three groups:stage Ⅲ patient prescription data, stage Ⅳ patient prescription data and overall patient prescription data. With the help of Excel,IBMSPSSModeler18.0 and IBMSPSS25.0 software.the overall clinical data of patients and the frequency of taste, drug frequency, dose, drug properties and efficacy of prescription drugs were statistically analyzed.A total of 184 traditional Chinese medicines were analyzed by Apriori association rules, and the core drugs of the three groups of data were analyzed by systematic cluster analysis to explore Professor Cheng Zhiqiang’s compatibility characteristics, core prescriptions and potential new prescriptions in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer. At the same time, combined with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine for analysis.Combined with expert interviews, this paper summarizes Professor Cheng Zhiqiang’s academic experience in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer, and provides ideas and clues for TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment of colorectal cancer.Clinical data statistics:a total of 107 patients with advanced colorectal cancer were included in this study, including 53 female patients and 54 male patients. The ratio of male to female was basically the same, ranging from 40 to 88 years old.the average age was 66 years old,46 patients in stage Ⅲ and 61 patients in stage Ⅳ.Statistics on the application of traditional Chinese medicine:this study involves a total of 184 traditional Chinese medicines, the total frequency of drug use is 1883,the number of flavor fluctuates between 10 and 30,and the average number of taste is 18.The first 11 high-frequency medicines were licorice,Achyranthes bidentata,Achyranthes bidentata,Coix seed,Atractylodes macrocephala,Poria,Chinese yam,Codonopsis pilosula,Radix Astragali,Amomum villosum and Pinellia ternata. The warm drugs are the most common in the four qi of traditional Chinese medicine, followed by mild drugs and cold drugs, while the five flavors are mainly sweet, bitter and pungent. Most drugs belong to spleen meridian, followed by liver meridian, lung meridian, stomach meridian and kidney meridian. In terms of efficacy, drugs for tonifying deficiency, regulating qi,activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis are the most frequently used, including the most kinds of drugs for tonifying deficiency, clearing heat, activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and so on.Apriori correlation analysis was carried out on the prescriptions of the whole patients.Combined with clinical theoretical knowledge and expert interviews,high-frequency drugs such as Herba Euphorbiae,Herba Euphorbiae,Coix seed,Chinese yam,and core drug combinations such as Codonopsis pilosula-astragalus,Hedyotis diffusa-Scutellaria barbata,rose-bergamot were analyzed. The core drugs of the three groups of data were systematically clustered, and the high-frequency drugs prescribed by the whole patient were finally formed into two clustering prescriptions.the first category of drugs include:Yujin,Cyperus,Perilla stem,Atractylodes macrocephala,Poria,Amomum.Pinellia ternata,Codonopsis pilosula, tangerine peel, fairy crane grass, yam,Coix seed,Fructus Aurantii. The second kind of drugs include:Achyranthes bidentata, mulberry parasite, dodder, chicken inner gold, turtle shell, stone see piercing, astragalus membranaceus, analyze the prescription composition in clustering, and explore the difference of drug compatibility in the treatment of stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ colorectal cancer. This study complements the prescription of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of advanced colorectal cancer from the point of view of data mining.Professor Cheng Zhiqiang believes that the middle and advanced colorectal cancer is mainly caused by deficiency of spleen and kidney and weakness of spleen and stomach, and should be treated by invigorating spleen and replenishing qi,tonifying liver and kidney as well as expelling pathogens and fighting cancer. In the aspect of medication,we should stick to the pathogenesis, emphasize the sharing of cold and temperature, flat period, harmony, good use of medicine, and well-constructed prescription, which embodies the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of colorectal cancer, such as mutual reference of disease and syndrome, west for middle use, spleen and kidney homology, consolidation of the foundation and cultivation of yuan, and emphasis on both main and secondary symptoms.the academic thought of adding and subtracting with the disease,4 calming the heart vegetarian, and prolonging the years with the disease shows the unique advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of colorectal cancer.
