Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Perianal Eczema With Perianal Sitz Bath Prescription

Objective:To observe the effectiveness and safety of perianal sitting bath formula in the treatment of damp-heat diffusing downward type perianal eczema,in order to provide a new idea for the treatment of damp-heat type perianal eczema.Methods:We recruited 60 patients who had been diagnosed with damp-heat diffusing downward type perianal eczema in DongFang hospital of Beijing university of Chinese medicine and randomly、equally divided them into control group and treatment group.The control group was treated with pevisone topical coating and the treatment group was treated combined with perianal sitting bath formula and pevisone.The treatment course of both groups was two weeks and after that we observed ang rate the diameter,morphology,exudation and pruritus degree of perianal skin lesions compared these scroe with 2 weeks ago.The incidence of adverse reactions in patients was recorded and follow-up was performed 3 months after the end of treatment to evaluate the recurrence of the two groups.Results:There were no significant differences in age,gender,course of disease,lesion diameter score,pruritus score,exudation score and lesion morphology score between the two groups(p>0.05).After treatment,the lesion diameter,pruritus degree,exudation and lesion morphological score in both groups were lower than those before treatment,with statistical difference(p<0.05).After 2 weeks’ treatment,the decrease degree of exudation,pruritus degree score and total score in the treatment group was more than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05),but there was no statistically significant difference in the reduction degree of lesion diameter and lesion morphology score between the two groups(p>0.05).After treatment,there were 28 effective cases and 2 ineffective cases in the treatment group,with an effective rate of 93.33%;22 effective cases and 8 ineffective cases in the control group,with an effective rate of 73.33%.The total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,with statistical significance(p<0.05).Three months after the end of treatment,2 patients in the treatment group had recurrence,while 4 patients in the control group had recurrence,and the recurrence rate in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group,but there was no statistical difference between them(p<0.05).During the treatment period,there were no obvious adverse reactions and side effects in the two groups,and the patients were well tolerated systematically and locally.Conclusion:In the treatment of perianal eczema,perianal sitting bath formula combined with pevisone can effectively improve the skin lesion diameter,lesion morphology,exudation and pruritus score of perianal eczema patients.The total effective rate of treatment is higher than that of pevisone alone,and the improvement of exudation and perianal symptoms better than that of pevisone alone.Perianal sitting bath formula has few adverse reactions in the treatment of perianal eczema and high safety,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
