Clinical Observation Of Self-made Gout Formula Combined With Febuxostat In The Treatment Of Phlegm Block Type Gouty Arthritis

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of with tutor’s self-made prescription combined with febuxostat tablets in the treatment of non-acute phase of phlegm turbid block gouty arthritis.Materials and Methods:According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 patients with gouty arthritis with turbid phlegm were collected from the outpatient department of the second Department of Orthopaedics,affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese Medicine from July 2019 to May 2020.The patients were randomly divided into two groups(control group and treatment group).Patients in both groups were given basic treatment,while those in the control group were treated with febuxostat tablets,and those in the treatment group were treated with tutor’s self-made prescription combined with febuxostat tablets.The control group was treated with 40 mg once a day,and the treatment group was treated with one dose of water decoction made by the tutor,and taken separately in the morning and evening(about 100 ml each time)combined with 40 mg once a day.The course of treatment in both groups was two weeks.The blood uric acid value,pain visual analogue score((VAS))and TCM syndrome score of gouty arthritis were recorded before treatment,after treatment and 1 month after treatment.The evaluation of the curative effect of TCM syndrome score and the decrease of serum uric acid value before and after treatment were set according to the Therapeutic effect Standard of TCM Disease and Syndrome diagnosis issued by the State Administration of traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002,and the curative effect was evaluated after treatment.All patients who met and completed this trial were statistically analyzed,and SPSS23.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis.Results:Among the 60 patients,2 cases in the control group were excluded because of other treatment intervention,and the other 58 patients completed this trial.There was no significant difference in sex,age,course of disease,serum uric acid value,VAS score and TCM syndrome score between the two groups.The comparison of the test results between the two groups before and after treatment and one month after treatment,and the comparison between the two groups,and the comparison of the curative effect between the two groups had statistical significance(P < 0.05),suggesting that the treatment schemes of the two groups are effective,and the curative effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control.There were no serious adverse reactions in both groups.Conclusion:The treatment of gouty arthritis of non-acute phlegm stagnation type with tutor’s self-made prescription combined with febuxostat tablets is more effective and safe than that of febuxostat tablets alone.
