A Study Of Writers In Canton House In The Ming Dynasty

This paper mainly studies the writers of Guangzhou Fu in the Ming Danasty,opening up from the writer's life story,writings,literature ideas and the features of literary works.Guangzhou located in Lingnan,where without much culture since ancient times because of the lack of transportation and and less communication with center plains.But this advantange made Guangzhou retains bright regional characteristics in culture.For the literature development of Guangzhou Fu,the Ming Danasty is a landmark danasty,before the Ming Danasty,the Guangzhou writers can be numbered and rarely known by people.From the Ming Danasty on,it became to appear some writers with rich and varied works and well-known throughout the country.It was because of them that Guangzhou gradually into the vision of the world.The unique danasty and the special geographic position were the foundation of the development of this time.Based on the data collection and sorting,my paper picked up six hundred and thirty-seven writers who had poems and prose handed down,and also collected potry and prose books about forty kinds.My paper compiled them into The Author Biographies of Guangzhou Fu in Ming Danasty and The Poetry and Prose Books of Guangzhou Fu in Ming Danasty listed in the appendix at the end of the text as the argument foundation of this paper.There are six chapters with a “introduction”and a ”epilogue” in this paper.The“introduction” contains two parts.The first part is about the historical development on the establishment,the culture tradition and the development of the literature in the Ming Danasty.The second part is about the origin and the research situation of the regional literature as well as the research situation of the Guangzhou Fu literature in the Ming Danasty and the goal and significance of this paper.The “epilogue” is a summary about the development and characteristics of the Guangzhou Fu literature in the Ming Danasty.The first to the fifth chapter are the main body of this paper,devided as The Initial Period,The Radiation Period,The Effusive Period,The Expanding Period,according to the development of the literature and the replacement of time.The first chapter mainly introduces the writers in The Initial Period in the Ming Danasty(Hong Wu to Xuan De),Although the few writers in this period were not famous,they established “Nanyuan Poetry Club”,set a precedent of continuous development of “Lingnan Shipai”.This chapter takes “Nanyuan Wuxiansheng”as the main writers,Chen Lian,Deng Lin,Luo Hengxin as the minor characters.They lived in the special danasties,their poems showed the tendency towards idolizing the ancients and aimed at the Han,the Wei and the Tang danasties,but retained the magnificent and vigorous tradition from Zhang Jiuling.The content showed a bright feature of Lingnan area.The poetry and prose of them brought a climax of literature history in Guangzhou Fu in the Ming Danasty.The second chapter mainly introduces the writers in The Radiation Period(Zheng Tong to Hong Zhi).During this period there were some great scholars and great poets who were nationally renowned influenced hundreds of year in the poetry circles in Guangzhou,such as Chen Xianzhang,Zhan Ruoshui.Because they appeared at a small scale just spreading dot by dot,we named it The Radiation Period.This chapter takes Chen Xianzhang,Zhan Ruoshui.as the main writers,Liang Chu,Su Kui,Zhang Xu as the minor characters.They animated the Hong Zhi time when the political was fair and the culture was free,so they could focus on the study of knowledge.Such a Socical Environment not only created “Baisha Xuepai” which second to Wang Yangming's “Xinxue”,but also became a necessary segment in the development of‘'Songming Lixue”.Their creations were dimmed with Neo-confucianism flavour.The third chapter mainly introduces the writers in The Effusive Period(Zheng De to Long Qing).Based on the previous two periods,this period saw the literature Huang Zuo,whose works impacted across the country,as well as “the latter Nanyuan Wuxiansheng” and other writers around them.One of the “the latter Nanyuan Wuxiansheng” was the member of “Hou Qizi”.The writers in this period climbed a new climax both on the quantity and the quality.This chapter takes Huangzuo and“the latter Nanyuan Wuxiansheng”as the main writers,Huo Tao,He Weibai,Luo Yuchen as the minor characters.And also introduce The Huang Family in Xiang Shan after Huang Zuo,The Li Family in Cong Hua after Li Minbiao.They created another cilimax in the middle Ming Danasty by their superb talent and great retro pace of Guangzhou Fu.The third chapter mainly introduces the writers in The Expanding Period(Wan Li to Chong Zhen),including Kuang Lu,Chen Bangyan,Li Suiqiu,”Nanyuan Shierzi”,‘'Lingnan Sanzhong”.It was the third climax of literature history in Guangzhou Fu in the Ming Danasty.In this period,the internal and external problems in politics becoming increasingly fierce.Some hot-blooded youngsters wanted to revive the elegant demeanour of “Lingnan Shipai”,therefore the ”Nanyuan Shierzi” led by Cheng Zizhuang launched Nanyuan Poetry Club once more.They responsory with drinking and writing,some of their works disclosed faint concern of the home country.When it came into The Chongzhen Period,the Ming's Day had gone,a batch of responsible poets such as Chen Bangyan,Zhang Jiayu,Chen Zizhuang came to the front line,they created works with patriotism one by one,thus made patriotism the main feature of this time.This chapter also introduce The Li Family in Panyu after Li Suiqiu.The third chapter mainly introduces the adherent poets,the poets beyond this common world,and female poets.It was because Zhao Qing once the capital of Yong Li Regime,many people lived in this area in Guang Dong became adherents of the Ming Danasty.The famous poets were Qu Dajun,Chen Gongyin,Zhang Jiazhen,Zhang Mu,Wang Bangji and The Wang Family in Panyu.The indeherent poets didn't cooperate with the Qing Regime,always kept the moral integrity.The poetry and prose of them featured by magnificent and vigorous,caring for reality,bright area feature.The poets beyond this common world and female poets were merged into this chapter because of the little quantity.This paper falls under the category of the literature geography,so the framework and main contents attach time and space equal importance,making geographical map and History of literature mutual supplement.The study of a specific poet is based on humanistic learning method,analyzing their literary feature and ideas through cult urology and literary.Textual research as the main,comment as the auxiliary,combining the textual research and discussion together,striving to work out the general view of the literature development in Guangzhou Fu in the Ming Danasty.
