In the Republic,Socrates raised the question of what is justice, while grocoon asked Socrates why people choose justice. This question, that is,grocoon's triple division of good,is a very important guiding question in the Republic.Socrates answered that people choose justice not only because of the consequences brought about by justice, but also because of justice itself, and happiness is the natural consequences of justice. He didn't make it clear that if there is no happiness as a "return",whether there are still people who adhere to justice, this paper will focus on this issue.Plato divides justice into city-state justice and individual justice, and finds individual justice by combining city-state justice. He believes that justice is that people perform their own duties and do not arrogate them.In order to make people better adhere to justice,he emphasizes that people are doomed to be unequal from the moment of birth, and divides people into four different levels:gold, silver, copper and iron. The reason why Plato thought that people were born unequal was related to the politics and personal background of the time, and he maintained the interests of the aristocracy. This concept overemphasizes personal talent, which is not conducive to personal development. It is contrary to the idea that everyone is equal in contemporary society, and it is a hindrance to seeking personal development and promoting social stability. But Plato's original intention was not to invade others. It was necessary to maintain social stability at that time.
