value and significance for its research.Based on the application of color in the book of songs,this paper tries to explore the significance of color application in the creation of the book of songs and its influence on later literary creation.The first chapter in the pre-qin period on the historical background and cultural customs,through the comparison of literature and historical relics unearthed,explore early budding plain color concepts in ancient China,under the influence of this kind of colour concept analysis literature at the beginning of the creation of color use whether to have certain rules to follow,and trying to find the color concepts of subjective and objective factors.Combined with the classical literature of this period,it can be seen that the color concept of "five colors" was widely used at that time.This chapter interprets the characteristics and forms of the color concept of this period on the basis of Confucianism,Taoism and dharma.The colors in the book of songs are generally inseparable from the color category of "five colors",which can be divided into direct colors and indirect colors according to the use of colors.The two color categories of"red" and "white" appear most frequently in the direct color,which is related to the customs education and understanding level at that time.The use of indirect color shows a certain degree of progress,in which the figurative,symbolic and other techniques obviously play an effect of emotional expression,is an important part of the color"beauty" in the book of songs.The second chapter mainly
