In recent years,with the vigorous development of the tourism industry,the scale of the hotel industry has become increasingly mature.Since the establishment of "Jinjiang Star" economic hotel by Shanghai Jinjiang Group in 1996,after nearly 20 years of development,a large number of economic hotel brands including home,7 days,pudding,Hanting,etc.have been born,and the competition of economic hotels is increasingly fierce.Unique brand image and hotel style can better attract the attention of consumers,so the introduction of visual identity system for the establishment of hotel brand image becomes particularly important.At present,some brand chain economy hotels have gradually promoted the visual recognition system in the store,but this concept has not been popularized.Most economy hotels in the market do not have a complete visual recognition system,and many businesses only know about the visual recognition system in logo design,lacking the integrity of the visual recognition system.In addition,the visual identity system only pays attention to the form and ignores the higher level of spiritual needs of customers in the design,resulting in the situation of empty brand connotation,so it is necessary to study and discuss the importance of visual identity system for the development of economic hotels.This paper studies the overall image design of VI of "xinhetai" economy hotel.The purpose is to pass on the core concept of the hotel through the VI system,publicize the image of the hotel and enhance the sense of experience of the guests,which has an important role in the future market promotion of the hotel."Xinhetai" economic hotel is a hotel that takes "Green Hotel" as the core concept of the enterprise and advocates the concept of green consumption and sustainable development.In the design of visual system,in addition to the continuation of the concept of "Green Hotel",the needs of customers are subdivided layer by layer,which are analyzed from four aspects of safety,aesthetics,emotion and cultural experience,and these needs are combined with the basic elements and application elements of VI system,so as to enhance the interaction with customers by establishing a complete visual system communication.This paper consists of five parts:the introduction is about the research background,significance and purpose of the subject,combined with the definition of the concept of economic hotel and the research on the development of hotel VI design by scholars at home and abroad,it puts forward the innovative points of helping the hotel to better serve customers and enhance customer experience by establishing a distinctive visual identification system;the first chapter is the overview of economic hotel This paper expounds the concept,characteristics and development of VI design,as well as the principles and characteristics of VI design.Combined with the characteristics of VI system,it explains the importance of the establishment of VI system for the economic hotel.Chapter Two investigates and analyzes the VI design of domestic and foreign economic hotel,and plans the future development of the hotel by analyzing and summarizing the existing cases and combining the current situation of "xinhetai"economic hotel The third chapter divides the actual needs of customers in the hotel from the aspects of physiological safety,vision and emotion,and shifts the focus of design concept and application part of "xinhetai" economy hotel VI system to the aspects of taking care of customers' needs and improving customer experience;the fourth chapter systematically displays the application part of "xinhetai" economy hotel VI design,which is mainly divided into basic parts The basic part and the application part,the basic part specifies the sign specification,standard character,standard color,auxiliary color and auxiliary graphic design of "xinhetai" economy hotel,and the application part is the application of the basic part to the hotel goods.VI design takes customer demand as the center,and finally helps "xinhetai" economic hotel establish a complete brand image.
