As a legendary figure in the history of western opera--Giuseppe Verdi,the influence of his works and the number of performances have confirmed his historical position in western opera,and he is the worthy "king of opera".Verdi is a great patriot,he not only inherited the tradition of Italian opera,but also made a fundamental reform of the existing bad habits,in his creation,the Italian opera into an unprecedented and unique situation."Masquerade" is a breakthrough in verdi's creation of a classic opera,it is a work with patriotic spirit,romantic love,changeable friendship and a variety of emotions interwoven and combined with a variety of genres.The opera is based on the assassination of King Gustav III of Sweden.The dramatic conflict between the tragic character amelia and the comic character Oscar is one of the highlights of the drama,creating a contrast between light and dark,which subtly pushes the development of the story.The study and exploration of the classical aria of two sopranos in the drama can improve the singers' expression of emotion for their roles and provide effective information for those who study verdi's vocal music works.This paper analyzes the background of the opera masquerade and the two typical tragicomedy sopranos and their arias.The paper is divided into four parts:Chapter one:introduction.The reason and significance of choosing this thesis are briefly expounded,the research status at home and abroad is collected,and the research methods and key problems to be solved are made.Chapter two:the introduction of verdi's life,the creation background and synopsis of the opera "masquerade ",and the preparation for the next chapter.Chapter three:analyze the images of sorrow and joy of soprano in" masquerade",taking amelia and Oscar as examples.Chapter four:based on my singing experience,this paper analyzes the treatment of two aria works from two aspects of breath and timbre,as well as the creation of tragicomedy roles by the famous soprano.The classic "masquerade",its artistic value is very worthy of our precious music learners study to explore,through the two aria music ontology analysis,character features and singers sing version of the guide,hope to be able to help in the future to learn the masquerade of vocal music works and verdi opera singer,deep into the role played by heart,more perfect interpretation of music works.
