Research On The Creation Characteristics Of Chen Zhe's Guzheng Works

This essay centers on five pieces of work of Chinese Zither,which are representative ones by Chen Zhe,one of Chinese young composers.With the clues of'composing techniques,an overall analysis has been made over the five pieces of work,so as to make a thorough research on her composing features and styles.The essay includes four chapters.The first chapter is due to illustrate Chen Zhe's personal experience and progress of composing.The chapter includes the essential reviews on Chen Zhe's zither works from the composer herself,performers as well as authoritative media,and recordings of interview between me and Chen Zhe.By doing so,relevant information or materials,as a result,are bound to be collected and analyzed completely,which renders it possible to make a summary on Chen Zhe's achievement in zither composing in an objective and solid way,and to provide the material support for further study on composing methods as well as composing mindsets.In the second chapter,detailed analysis and refinement have been made to on composing techniques on zither and piano-"Cang Ge Yin",zither and piano-"Chen Xing",zither and chamber music-"Yao Hua",zither and percussion Music "Da Wu" and Guzheng solo "Zhu Ri.I would like to make a specific refinement and analysis on composing techniques,focusing on seven aspects:analysis,orchestration and polyphonic thinking writing,and the application of "non-music sound" technology.The third chapter will touch on and analysis the composer's personal style and characteristics in terms of four aspects including the choice of work themes and composing methods,the mixing of Chinese and western composing techniques,the balance of academy and popularity.as well as the modernization of Chinese traditional culture,so as to explore her composing features.In the end,taking into account the method-“new era of zither”-raised in Doctor Wang Yingrui's doctoral dissertation‘Chinese zither art in the 20th century' in 2007,will make a analyze and summary on artistic value and social influence of works composed by Chen Zhe.Besides that,the discussion,under the circumstance of the artistic development of zither music,has been made on the influence and inspiration of Chenzhe's works on the future development of zither.
